A & G Central Music

Do not rent from this place. We were told to leave my son's instrument

at school at the end of the year and they would pick it up. This company called me two months later and told me I owed them money. When I told them we left it at school to be picked up, they said, well we don't have it, you need to call school and get it. It was summer so I could not call. When I could I called the school and the music teacher said they did not have it, A & G picked everything up. They are calling me over and over and one rude office worker hung up on me. I look them up on BBB and they have complaints and will be getting another. Please do yourself a huge favor and rent from any other company. I will be speaking to the school and will try to keep this company out of my school system.

A lady set me up with a flute and she was really good and it sounded so good ANd it made me get first chair at blue lake fine arts camp look up bluelake.org you should go its a wonder full experience

I have done business with A & G many time over the last 20+ years. The staff are friendly, professional and have a tremendous understanding of what the beginning band/orchestra student needs to be successful. I'm very thankful that they are still the same type of store they were when I first started going there.Thanks A & G for staying true to the classical music community!

BE WARE I rented and instrument on 9-8-11 and over the weekend we were lucky enough to find one on craigs list for about 200.00 When I called on 9-10-11 the staff was very rude and said I would have to pay for the entire month? I called on 9-12-11 and was told it is a cleaning fee? To have the instrument for a few days (they did not even have my account in their computer yet) I can see a cleaning fee but an entire month of rent??? I believe the company is unethical , the company could more than likely have it cleaned and re rented in a week, therefore double dipping. NO MORALS

They have a wide supply of instruments, but the person at the front desk seemed clueless about the instruments I was asking her about.

I've taken my violin bow in for repair, bought strings and found the personnel friendly and helpful. They're really enthusiastic about music. We discussed my usage at this time of my life and which strings would be appropriate. ~Carol Matsura, Interlocken 1964.

When our daughter decided she wanted to play the trombone in school, we went shopping for an instrument. Our neighbor had purchased a flute at a different store and had problems with it. She said that A & G had fixed it up and that they were ok to deal with. We went into the store in Madison Heights and rented a trombone. They had very nice people who were friendly, knoledgable, and helpful. Turns out that they visit all the schools in the area and knew the book and other stuff my daughter needed for class. They even said that they go to the schools to service the instruments so we don't even have to go to the store.



The rental program was inexpensive and I believe that I have the opportunity to use my rental money towards buying the trombone if my daughter wants to keep playing. I reccomend that you try A G if you need an instrument for your kid.
