Without question the most dishonest people I've dealt with in this business and that is really saying something. My husband and I own some properties which Heritage managed for one year and we never got a full check. Not one single time. After inspecting some of the work Heritage arranged, it was very clear they either grossly overcharged us or we paid for work that was never done, evidenced by the fact tenants were complaining about the same issues for weeks after we fired Heritage. Statements and invoices arrive so late and when they do finally arrive it's all full of mistakes and you spend a week chasing somebody for answers. It's really basic stuff and they mess it up every month without fail. When you get tired of unanswered emails and call them on the phone they just put you through to the CEO who apparently is the only person in the company capable of having an intelligent conversation. Sadly he can't be trusted either so you're wasting your time no matter what. Put simply, this company is a disgrace to the industry. Period.
Way too expensive for such poor service. Wait til they get you with the "supervisor fee" every time they arrange work they charge a percentage of that work cost. Who does that!?! Apparently for their time checking the work but clearly they don't even check it's done because a week later they sending people out to fix the same problem and not telling you about it. And that not telling you about it is a big thing, most of the time you only know what work has been done when you get the invoice which can be many weeks later. Very suspicious. Someone needs to sue these clowns. I've never enjoyed firing someone so much! AWFUL
This is the worst property management company ever. They sound very professional over the phone but once you sign up with them everything changes. I had them manage my properties for about 4 months and they get nothing done. They did no repairs on my properties like I asked them and they put 0 tenants in any of them. I had to call for several days before I could get in touch with the owner, who was the only one that could give you any real info as the people answering the phone know nothing. It took them about 3 months to file eviction on tenants who didn't pay once. They manage over 800 units and they could care less about any single person. Huge mistake!
We just used Coldwell Banker Realtors for the first time to buy our first home. Our realtor was great! He knew what we wanted and he showed us several house that fit our dream home. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we got the home that was best for us!
I was really satisfied with my realtor at Coldwell Banker. She was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. She found exactly what I wanted!
I would not choose to do business with Mr Blair based on my recent experience with him. A realtor is ethically bound to conduct his business affairs at "arms length." Mr. Blair was the listing agent on a foreclosed property in my neighborhood. On several occasions, the for sale sign in the yeard simply disappeared, leading myself, and other passerbys to believe that the property had be sold. On several later occasions, the sign appeared again, but was once hidden face down on the side of the house, or in some other place not in plain view. A little more than a week ago, I observed the for sale sign face up in the yard but lying on the ground. I decided to call Mr. Blair. The house WAS still for sale, although Mr. Blair was NOT very enthusiastic about showing the house, nor did he exhibit even BASIC knowledge about this house. For example, this was a house built in 1995, about 2600 SF, nice neighborhood and in seemingly good condition. I immediately noticed, however, that over the garage- presumably a "bonus" room, there was a highly visible, (from a back and side view) window unit., which is not a common feature in this quality of home. When I asked about this on the telephone, Mr. Blair remarked that he "didn't know it had a window unit, or that he "hadn't noticed." Also, he was not able to meet us to show us inside until the following weekend, although I offered to meet him before 9am or at 5 or 5:30 pm so my husband could accompany me. When we finally did get inside, we liked the house very much, although access to various features, such as the heating system, etc was locked and under the house. He did not have the key with him. I know my husband also wanted to looki under the nouse for any signs of water damage, leakage, etc. We were very uncomfortable with his attitude, and he seemed as though he was either trying to hide something about this house, or just couldn't care less about selling it, showing it, etc. We drove off before he did, definetly put off by his attitude, but still interested in the house. We drove back by later, and the sign was gone again!! The sign did not reappear by the time we found his number and called him again 6 days later. The house had NOT sold, but the for sale sign was NOT back in its place. My husband asked Mr. Blair "why did you take the sign with you?" He responded, "It was broken and i needed to fix it." Oddly enough, the price was reduced again on that 6th day that we called, and Mr. Blair told my husband that since it dropped, several people had already bid on it. But he never put the for sale sign back! At this point the sign has been gone for 9 days, he did NOT replace it as he said was his intent, and there isa still no eviidence of a sale. I believe he was watching this property for someone, and took the sign with him when he left the day he showed it to us. I also believe he had a heads up on when the price would be reduced, and knowing this, he did NOT put the sign back up, so as to put off others who might also be inbterested in this property & make them think AGAIN as I had in the past, that it hadf already sold. It's ok to act as alook out for a client........ but to play these kind of games continually with the for sale sign is just plain unethical, and as a realtor, and NOT THE OWNER of the property, he did not have the right to do this. I am absolutely furious about this sneaky and very misleading behavior. This is REALLY BAD BUSINESS.
I really liked my time at Coldwell and working with the agents because they are very professional and friendly. I don't think anything could have been done better.
