Great food ask for one of the male servers. Surly they can do a better job than the female we had.

I enjoy Riverview Complex its always clean and have good service. Thank YouRiverview for having housespitiality.
This is the NASTIEST hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt dirty when I left!BATHROOM* You had to hold the handle on the toilet until it flushed & play with the handle on the sink until the water shut off or it would drip)* The walls were filthy! On the inside of the bathroom door was a HOLE where someone punched it. Rather than fixing it properly, they put "a little" discolored spackle (which doesn't work on doors) in the hole and called it good. It didn't completely fill the hole & they didn't paint the door. The door paint is also chipped. Below, on same side, I could see a dirty shoe print (probably from same day as the day it was punched) that was not cleaned off. * The light switch was blackened by fingerprints. I was afraid to touch it!* The complimentary packet of shampoo they leave is so small it wouldn't wash the hair on a bald guy!* The sink area outside the bath was filthy! Besides the water not turning off properly, on the wall was what appeared to be old toothpaste spit and fingerprints.SLEEP AREA* Between the 2 beds were dried white spots on the wall. I don't even want to GUESS what it was!!!* The smell when we walked in was OVERBEARING! Whatever deodorizer they used, they used too much - when someone uses that much, you know they're trying to cover up stink because the room isn't clean.* The clock wasn't plugged in and set, which isn't too big of a deal, but the guests in the room next to us were from Germany and I'm sure they would have liked to know local time when they arrived* The tv was not set up to work, and no directions left, so we had to call the front desk & ask how to use it. We were told the tv input had to be on HDMI, but were left to figure out how to do it on our own, using the buttons on the side of the tv.* Last but not least, the air/heat probably hasn't been serviced in ages because it hardly blew out any air at all, then when we turned it down, the heat smelled musty & oldI'll NEVER stay in a Regency again!!
Nasty and unclean. The walls and baseboards are caked with mildew and mold looking stuff. The door that leas to the kitchen where the food is cooked is nasty with built up dust and grease. Flies are all over the floor near the food, and when they fix your food they allow juice to leak on your meat and they do not care if your meat is soggy. Just look around.
Great food, burgers and beers are of a wide variety. If you just want a solid place to eat you can't go wrong here. Prices are also pretty competitive, you'll probably pay around 10-12$ for a burger entree plus drink.
Basically, the Southern style Soul food, which is served cafeteria style, is the best reason to come here.....probably the only reason to come here. This is a place to dine if you want good soul food and don't care about the atmosphere. This is the kind of place where the locals go. The meat selections today for lunch were fried pork chops, fried chicken, baked chicken, baked turkey wings, pigs feet, and neck bones. There was an assortment of sides. I had collards and rutabagas. The collard greens are the best I have ever eaten. They are cooked in some type of meat, such as fat-back, as are the other vegetables. The macaroni and cheese is also good. The meal comes with a meat, two sides, and a couple of flat fried corn bread. The portions are very generous....two people could easily share one meal if they are not big eaters. My husband chose the fried pork chops and was given three. Dine in and carry-out are both served in Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. The restaurant is spacious, but definitely needs a face lift and updating. My lunch plus a drink was about $11.00.
I have been living at this extended stay for going on two years an must say it has greatly improved with each passing month. Sure there have been bad elements from time to time but they don't stay long, management gets rid of them. My plan is to continue to live here.
I agree with Teresa E. Disrespectful waitress and inappropriate conversations with customer. Waitress hairstyle was wild.............red afro on top and short hair on the sides. Will never enter that door again.
