Buyers Beware! The store's motto is: "Don't be sorry . . Shop Around". This should be interpreted as shop around and buy your electronics from some other store or YOU WILL BE SORRY. I bought an item from the store and returned it intact, unwrapped. To process my refund, they took an imprint of my credit card with all the numbers including the expiration date, gave me back a receipt that said my money was refunded, with a zero balance, then told me it would take ten days to see the refund on my credit card account. Ten days have gone by and I called the store. The person who answered the phone said I should wait 14 BUSINESS DAYS, and if I didn't get the refund, then I should call the store back. He explained that unlike all other retailers who give you an instant refund, the paperwork needs to be sent back to their corporate office for processing. When asked for the corporate office phone number and address, he avoided answering the question and said I need to call the store back. If I don' get my refund in "14 business days" I will file a complaint with the state Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau. These guys are working on commission and once they have your money, their customer service ends. I will never, ever buy anything from this store. Their practices are shady and I am still waiting for my refund credit which if I don;t get back, the TV stations in Seattle will hear from me and I will GET JESSE! If there is any "savings" in their lower prices, its not worth the aggravation and poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Video Only is fraught with problems and they answer to NO ONE! They treat you nice while you have your money in your pocket, but when they get a hold of it WATCH OUT! Customer service does not exist at ANY level in this company. I will NEVER do business with these people again EVER! Do so at your own peril!

I went to Video Only in Lynnwood because I've never had any problems in the 10 years I've been buying there. After being helped patiently by Ryan I left with a 40"" Samsung tv. I had all my questions answered and never felt pressured to buy. I also had gained a bunch of information on the products. A good experience all around. He helped me to decide what tv was the one that would fit what I was looking for. I have no regrets on my decision. I was back last night inquiring about a blu-ray player. Once again from Ryan a knowledgable and informative buying experience. I have always been treated respectfully and friendly. Obviosly I will go back.
I bought a 50 inch TV there and they told me I have a 60 day price match. I found they had put the TV on Sale for $200 cheaper about 3 weeks later. I called and asked and I had the guy write down the 60 policy on my receipt.
When I went in, the manager told me he was not going to price match.
This guys are pretty dishonest and do not stand by their own policy!
I purchased a 56 inch screen television from the Alderwood Mall store with a 3 year warranty. I was told that the lamp would go out after a few thousand hours of viewing and that the warranty would cover a new one within 3 years. The warranty cost me $200 which was less than what a new lamp would cost, so obviously I thought it was a good deal.
After 2 years, the lamp burned out and I was told by Video Only that they would not honor the warranty since the warranty company that Video Only used went out of business.
Video Only really pushed to sell me this warranty which they obviously made money on, but they told me there was nothing they would do.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DON'T BUY FROM THEM AS THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR AGREEMENTS.

at first when i went in to there store i spent maybe 5 minutes looking at tvs when one of the employees ryan came up to help me looked high as a kite on heroin should have been my first sign to go to another store upon talking to him he seemed knowledgeable about the tvs i then asked him if they had a lg tv i was interested in and he went and looked and told me they didnt have the one in stock i was looking for so for the inconvenience they would lower the price on the 37 inch of the same model which ended up being about the same price so i jumped on the deal at the checkout i thought nothing of it but he asked another employee to bring the tv to my car after he finished the sale and kept the box on the other side of the counter then the other employee came to my car and loaded the box into my car for me when i got home and unloaded the box i noticed there was a small green sticker on the box saying it was a used tv after i was told i was buying new i havnt been back to try and get a refund yet because they were about to close when i made my purchase but reading other peoples reviews on multiple sites now im not sure how smooth the refund is going to go i for one will never shop there again EDIT i jumped the gun because i was pissed off last night i went back in today and they gave me the brand new model no questions asked still only giving them 3 stars because i think thats unexceptable to send a customer out with a used product when paid for new

I was skeptical at first after all the reviews but found nothing but the complete opposite. I recently went into Video Only in Lynnwood and purchased a 60 inch LED with an audio system and had nothing but the best service from the salesman. The salesman was completely knowledgeable and walked me through all the differences of plasma's, LCD's and LED's. I did have an issue with connecting the internet on my TV so I called in and a different salesman walked me through setting up my WIFI and it worked! I was so happy that I got my Netflix working that I came onto the site to write a review. I would completely recommend Video Only to all my friends.

I went to Video only as a referral for a 60"" TV, Spent some time with a nice Salesperson Matt who helped me get a Bundle deal. (About $2800 package deal) After I was done I mentioned wanting a TV for a Gazebos Hot tub, Suggested a Blue ray DVD Internet connection. So I went ahead and bought that as well with a Debit card (cash purchase) $110. After getting a new Router ($149) and Digital antenna from Best buy, ($49) I still could not get reception so when I went to pick up my 3d glasses I mentioned I had an extra UN OPENED Wi Fi Blue ray player that I wouldn

I purchased a 50"" Samsung plasma TV on Dec. 14th as a Xmas present. I was told they were out of stock but they promised delivery in 1-2 weeks. No problem, they would have it by New Years. FIVE weeks later, still no TV and their story on why had changed weekly. It went from 'they'e coming tomorrow!' to 'should be a couple of days', to 'we don't know when we're going to get them'. They repeatedly blamed Samsung, first saying they gave the TVs promised and paid for by Video Only to Best Buy. Ummmmm, Best Buy doesn't carry this model. Then they said Samsung wouldn't give them any info or dates. I finally talked to another retailer who said it was a 2009 model and they had been told by Samsung that no more were being manufactured or shipped. I asked Video Only if there was a good possibility that they would never get this model back in and they said 'yes'. Fine, then what DO you have in stock in a 50"" plasma TV that I could have delivered?? Remember, this is already 5 weeks after my purchase. Nothing. Nada. They had NO 50"" TVs at all in stock. They had one 58"" for almost twice the price. I firmly believe after reading other similar reviews of this store that this practice is something they do repeatedly. Sell things they don't have and sit on the money until people get tired and ask for a refund. I was told they had 30 people waiting for these. That's over $30,000! Then to add insult to injury, their refund process is a joke! I puchased the TV on 12/14 and it hit my VISA account on 12/15. ONE day. If you want a refund, you are told that it has to be processed manually (they literally take an old fashioned imprint of your card - they refuse to run it through electronically) and it has to be sent to their home office for them to handle. Minimum of 2 weeks. When I became irate and demanded better, he promised to get it done in one week. Well guess what. It's been one week and still no refund on my card. I have reported them to the WA State Attorney General's office and also the Better Business Bureau. In the meantime, I went somewhere else (Magnolia) and had one delivered in days. Do yourself a favor - DON'T give these guys your money. If you must shop here, make sure you walk out the door with the product in hand!!
We purchased a TV Toshiba 11-18-2007. We bought the extended warranty. We called Aug 20th 2009 for service. They came right out and needed to order parts. They came back to repair and needed additional parts. They said the parts should be in on September 11th. I called on the 15th to see if the parts came in and when they would be out to fix our TV. Brian O. in service at the Lynnwood store was very rude and sarcastic. I did call the service manager Paul.
We have been without the TV for almost a month. The customer service should have been helpful and friendly not rude and sarcastic.

Said TV I wanted was on order so I purchased a different TV and was not satisfied. After purchase I was told that they were not getting TV that I wanted. I had to trade for a different model all together. I'm very happy with my new selection $200.00 higher price, but they should have ate the $200.00 extra or refunded my money for the entire purchase since I was misled.

I was interested in buying a Samsung 40"" tv, but the salesman convinced me to buy the 42"" LG TV instead. After putting it together & turning it on the picture quality was terrible, to the point that it even hurt my eyes. I took it back to the store & the same salesman asked me if I had HD at home. I had no idea that I had to subscribe to HD in order to get the picture quality that was on their displays, now that was a small, but important detail he should have mentioned,. I then took it back home called my cable company to set up HD programming . Later plugged in my camera through the USB component on the TV but it was unable to read the files, I then connected it to my PC & that didn't work either. A couple days later, my new tv won't even turn on, so I took it back to the store, explained the situation, to the store manager, he didn't even apologize for the huge inconveniance, only offered to swap it with another LG , even though I was very unhappy with this specific brand. The purchase receipt states that you are entitled to a full refund with in 30 days if you are unhappy with the merchandise, his argument was that the box had to be factory sealed, now how in the world are you to know whether you like the product if you can't even take it out of the box? (MAKE ANY SENSE?) since I was only getting in store credit if I wanted to buy the 40"" Samsung tv that I was originally interested in, but they didn't have any in stock. I asked if I could buy the Samsung display since they were out , but he refused. I was stuck the other tv's were either too small or too expensive, not much to choose from. After an entire hour of trying to negotiate with this manager he finally agreed to selI me the display TV, in ""Federal Way"" (UNBELIEVABLE) I am just sorry that I hadn't read the previous review before stepping a foot in that store, it was by far one of my worst shopping experiences ever. I just hope that this review will help future shoppers.

Please be careful when purchasing anything at this store. My husband purchased a television set for me for Christmas. Because it was a gift, he specifically asked if he could return it if it was the wrong size. He was specifically told there would be no problem if he returned it within 30 days and retained the box. He was NOT told the box had to be factory sealed. The television was way to big for our room and we wanted a much smaller TV. When we tried to return it, they refused, and would only give us an in store credt for 12 months of 1,4000.00. Well the television we want, only cost 400.00, so guess what. We are out 1,000.00 or we have to buy electronic equipment that we do not need for 1,000.00. While the return policy is in very small print on the receipt, the salesman was verbally deceptive. This outlines pretty much the way they do business. What a shame. They have lost good customers in us and I am happy to warn others in advance. I wish we had read these reviews prior to patronizing this store.
