NO complaints!

We have 2 dogs and a cat who have each been seen at the Alderwood Companion Clinic. We live clear up in Lake Stevens and the things that continue to bring us back to the clinic are the people! On the phone we are always treated as if we are their only clients....almost like we are family. Everyone there has the honest belief that animals are extremely important to their owners. Their prices are competitive and they are truly honest and thorough!

Wonderful Staff

We've been clients at this clinic for about 8 months now. In that time, we have made 2 emergency visits (1 for our dog after he ingested some coffee beans, 1 for our cat after she broke her hip playing with our other cat), and we've taken both our dogs in for their annual shots. \nFirst, the hospital is open on Sundays. This was a lifesaver for our dog the morning of Christmas Eve. \nThe staff is wonderful, always friendly and helpful. More importantly, they seem to know how to keep records properly, which I have found to be a rare quality. Whenever I need information for an airline or a boarding facility, I have a very easy time getting it from the receptionists, which I really appreciate. We have seen 3 different vets at the hospital, and while Dr. James is definitely my favorite, they have all been very competent and good with our animals. \nOver the past 3 years, we have had an absolutely miserable time finding a competent vet who had an equally competent and friendly staff. After bouncing from clinic to clinic, I can happily say that Alderwood has our business from here on.

Not Happy

My faimley and I have been going there for over 30 years and and my uncle being a vet (Lives in NC).that went to school with doctor mygil. So i have a very long history there.I have had two very bad experiances there That made me look into other clinics.First it started with my 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback that had congestive heart failure. He started looking sick and coughing and i thought it was due to a hit to his neck.I waited a week and watched and he didnt get better.I took him in and he died on the table. There russian doctor (dont know his name) told me that it was all my fault and that my dogs death was from my negelct.VERY RUDE. But true and sad.

2nd got a new dog and she was a 1 1/2 years old Rhodesian Ridgeback looked sick so i rushed her in 1st thing.

i was asked to run tests.I said i dont care about money find out whats wrong.Never going to let my mistake happen again. They ran 800 dollars worth of tests and i was givin antbotics and told we dont know just watch her she will be fine. Took her back to yakima were i was living 2 1/2 hour drive each way and took her to a country doctor that ran 1 test for 35 dollars to find out she had a blood disorder and would have died that night without treatment.

Dr. Mygill is a fine doctor and the nurses seem to do the best job.But the other doctors there are not worth the price and shouldnt have jobs.I will never return there.
