I am a loyal customer of G & S Motors..I wouldn’t take any of my vehicles anywhere else why?? Because I trust them. The first time I brought my car to them, I had just left the dealer. I had taken my car in for a “FREE” oil change, only to be told by the service writer that my intake manifold gasket needed to be replaced due to leaking coolant, and that my brakes were unsafe…the bill?? Over $1000.00!! I was shocked and said I needed to think about it. On my way home I spotted G&S and pulled in. Michelle (the owner) was very kind and understanding and got my car right in. Alex, the Mechanic that worked on my car, even took the time to take me out into the shop and show me my brakes and explain to me that my car was in good running order. Although he did point out that my serpentine belt would probably need replacing at my next oil change, as it was starting to show signs of wear. Michelle even took time to look up the price so that I would know how much to expect when I came in. Believe me $115.00 is a heck of a lot less than the money the dealer wanted. You know they could have agreed with the dealer and just beat their price and I wouldn’t have known the difference, but they didn’t. I have taken all of my vehicles there since, and have sent many family members and friends there. We all agree if you want to take your vehicles to a repair shop you can trust, there is none better than G & S Motors.. Thanks Michelle and Crew—you’re the best!!!!!!!
What auto sho in their right mind charges 40 dollars for an oil change?

Our oil changes run between $35.00 to $45.00. Why? Well first off oil is 3.95 a quart most cars take 4-5 quarts= $15.80 - $19.75 for the oil, plus the oil filter which can run from $5.oo to $10.00 or even more. Plus we employ top rate technicians that get paid on average $28.00 per hour and an oil run 2/10ths of an hour and that is $19.00. Our techs have over 25 years of experience...our goal is to give you a quality oil change, with quality products, done by qualified technicians. We also include a FREE safety inspection everytime we see your vehicle. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. You have to wonder how places that are only charging half of what I do, or less are making ends meet...is it because they are using inferior products, employees, or are they going to try and sell you something else??? Think about it..
Having a quality, reliable mechanic is a huge relief. At Long's they explain things well, they do what they say they will, they call and keep you informed if they find a concern, and I have found their prices to be very fair.
We have used Long's Automotive for around 3 years, and have always found them to be reliable and trustworthy. Randy has always been upfront about what repairs should be immediate, and what could wait for the next maintenance appointment. It is really nice to know I don't have to know anything about cars, cuz I have an honest mechanic who does.
G&S Motors always treats me with the best service. The fix my car in a timely manner, which is very important to me. They will also give me a ride home if I need it.
They have a very friendly staff.
If you haven't been there you need to give them a try...you won't be diappointed.
