I chose to buy all Sears/Kenmore appliances when I moved to WA because I grew up thinking it had a stellar reputation for good and reliable product. This is has been the worst experience and I am so sad my whole house is full of Sears/Kenmore. My 3 and 1/2 year old washer is broken and after the 3rd repairman leaves next week it better be fixed. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!! Never again - but wait - Sears is going bankrupt. And I know why
I had a recent repair on my ice dispenser and while it took 2 visits for diagnosis and part order the 2nd visit fixed everything wonderfully and the technician was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and answered my questions. #1 service
The repair guys did a great job. They are honest people always doing the job right. They might not carry all the necessary parts with them in their van (that's not their fault...that is corporate protocol) but they reschedule and come back another day.
I have had to have my oven repaired 3 times since I bought it for the same part. It had gone out twice in one year but according to the warrenty it has to go out four times in a 12 month period before they will replace it. It took a month to repair the last two times. It customer service line was not helpful, short and unsympathetic. I will never buy another thing from Sears.
Scheduled the annual service of the dryer but they never showed. Got the call and the confirmation email but turns out they showed up at the neighboring business and didn't double check the address or even the make/model of the dryer (theirs is a different brand and a front loading one where we have a top loading). They got a free service and I am stuck rearranging my schedule for another appointment. Very frustrating to have to reschedule especially because of the 4 hour appointment window, you virtually have to set a side a full day.
my fridge dispenser was not dropping ice the tech has no knowledge . At first he came and say ice maker was misaligned,it was doing the same the second time same tech came and say the fleper is bad he was wrong the part that engage the fleper to open and close that was worn out this tech needs more training
COMMUNICATION WAS SPOT ON, SERVICE WAS GOOD ,FAST, AND CLEAN. HE EXPLAINED WHAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM AND REPAIRED IT.
After having at least 3 servicemen to my home for the same repair on my dishwasher over the past several years, finallllllllllly what appeared to be a simple fix to the panel that had fallen apart & looked like sh.. all this time was fixed. I've had a continuous maintenance agreement in place for 46 (yes, fourty six) years so expected better service. hmmm
The serviceman was on time and very efficient. Knowledgeable regarding the garden tractor. Made helpful suggestions which improved the outcome. Would hope to receive the same serviceman should I need repairs in the future.
