All it takes is a little preparation to get your car winter-ready and to keep from getting into an icy situation.
It’s time to bring long sleeves and long pants out of storage, prep your home and car, and contact the cool weather home/yard contractors.
Best Auto Buying Experience Ever!!! Bought a car from best bet auto about a month ago and had a very easy, simple transaction. I found the perfect BMW after looking at many other places. I looked at several dealerships and none of them gave me the feeling of comfort and confidence like best bet. They disclosed everything they new about the car, showed me the carfax and also offered to bring it over to my mechanic to have it checked. They did not negotiate much with the price but that was ok since it really was priced very well compared to similar cars available at other dealerships I did trade in an old Mercedes and they gave me a very fair trade price. I financed my purchase and they beat the interest rate that my credit union was giving. I made sure that when I found the car that I liked at best bet to wrap up the deal fast because while I was there it was extremely busy and in the 2 hours I spent there they must have sold 5 cars. When I arrived there the very car I wanted to buy was on a test drive lucky for me the person test driving my car bought another car on the lot. Their website is great, full of information, and they respond to you right away. We were also very impressed on how informed all the sales guys were with all the different models they carry. My husband plans on buying a car next and after the fantastic experience we had at best bet we could not imagine buying a car anywhere else.
After a rigorous search for the best deal in the market, I chose to buy my Honda CR-V from best bet auto, mike gave me great information, great price, and great service. More than anything else, he was honest and transparent with all the details that I needed to know about the car and the deal. I am a pretty pessimistic person in trusting dealers and very tough in negotiating what I want. But I can testify that this gentleman is an honest person, with whom you do not need to play games to find the truth or the best deal. Thank you mike. When I started shopping around for Honda CR-V, I contacted every single dealer and reseller in seattle/Tacoma area and told them that I want the best price and services they can offer. I collected quotes and ran a second round to verify that they actually have the vehicle and that they can beat the best price I had. Half of the dealers didn't even have the car. The other half were to lousy to respond to internet inquiries or only insisted on me visiting them and making an appointment for test drive. I did a test drive somewhere else, But ended up with only four dealers who could actually deliver. mike gave me the best price after all and did everything to keep me happy. I learned for the first time that a car dealer can also be a nice and honest person.
I've been in the customer service industry for several years and I know the difference between good customer service, bad customer service and the absence of. Best Bet Auto Sales is the epitome of customer service. That doesn't make them clairvoyant though. They do not moonlight as the neighborhood psychic. They can't predict if there will ever be an issue with a vehicle. Several years ago I bought a new vehicle from a Pontiac dealership and it started having mechanical problems within a year. Sometimes those things happen. Best Bet could've told me "your credit score sucks - go peddle your Nike's." I got a very nice car. A Kia that I love. Upon purchasing the car, there was a minor issue. I completely overreacted. I went in there snapping my fingers and cussing like Popeye. In spite of my awful (and embarrassing) behavior - they all remained professional and courteous. My car became a team effort and was repaired promptly. I'd like to give credit to Ray, Sarah, Salim, Hussein, Raul, Robert, all the mechanics and everyone else who helped out. They're motivated to be fair and honest with their customers. For that reason, Best Bet Auto Sales comes highly recommended.
We recently moved back to Washington from Hawaii. Since we had to sell our car before we could make the move back, we needed a new one. We found a cadillac ext that my husband "had to have". We got a great price on it. After we brought it home, we noticed after spending more time in it that there were a few small things we wanted to get fixed. We called the dealership to see who they recommend. I had no idea that Carson Cars also has a auto repair shop. We dropped it off, went to pick it the next day. When we were getting ready to pay the bill, they told me dont worry about it, it was on them. I couldnt believe it! I know it didnt amount to a lot of money, but we were tickled pink. We are very impressed with Carson Cars and now their auto shop too! Yes, of course we will be back, you have customers for life!
While looking for today’s (Saturday’s) store hours of this particular Bucky's shop, I saw a mix of both very good and very bad reviews. I am usually too busy to write reviews but I did not want to let the opportunity go by to respond to a reviewer personally attacking Joey, the store manager, whom I have known for over a decade. Based on the very positive experiences of ALL members of my large family, I can honestly vouch for both quality of work and customer service of Joey and his crew. When he left to work at a different place for a while, we missed him dearly. Joey’s valuable and vast technical knowledge regarding mechanics, as well as his determination to not overcharge customers, are invaluable to me and my family in keeping our many cars safe and running. I stand by Joey and his work any time!
I typically read the reviews before heading to a new place. As with any business there are always good ones and bad ones. I try to visit the business and form my own opinion based on my experience. To the best of my knowledge, all the information is available, recorded and easy to check. So, the first thing that I asked G&R for was a Car Fax because it has the complete information about a car - from the numbers of owners to the true odometer reading. Their staff was very helpful, and to my relief, not pushy at all. They answered all my questions with great details. I ended up buying a good car that runs great. The only thing I would mention is that the owner was a little hard to negotiate the price with, but the car was worth the price I paid.
I went to Speedway Collision Service Center to repair my car after an accident. Both the owner and helpful customer service were very friendly and great, they looked at every detail of the damage and provided the accurate estimate. They walked me through step by step what they would need to fix the car, and even offered other solutions as well. They spent time to answer any and all of my questions. The experience was great. The car looks like new after repair. They vacuumed an clean the interior as well. It smells fresh. !! Amazing work and will recommended them to anyone needing auto body work, painting service or any auto repair works. They are great!! Thanks again!! Great job!!
Best Place to buy a car, i would never buy anywhere else, We were assisted by Felix who was extremely patient and very accommodating for the time that we walked the lot and test drove multiple vehicles. Felix is very knowledgeable and professional, followed up with us after the sale and made sure I was satisfied with the service they provided. There was never any sales pressure or questionable negotiating practices. Best variety of makes and models. Sales manager Robert really stepped up to the plate in order to get the purchase completed. We are extremely happy with our new car and even more with the acquisition process at best bet auto sales, strongly recommend.
Ive been a customer with Speedway Collision for the last 10 years. Ive been in a number of accidents that I caused or someone hit me. I always go back to speedway cause I just give them the claim number and hand them my keys they take care of the rest. Gave me a rental car when i showed up and didnt have to pay my $500 deductable when the car was done. Gave me a complete and detailed paperwork of everything that was done, explained everything so I could understand it. They gave me in writting a lifetime warrenty of the repairs and 100% percent satisfaction on the repairs. They promissed me that no one will ever dedect it ever been repaired!!!
I just want to take this opportunity to express my suprise and pleasure at the experience I had at Best Bet Auto. After the disfortune of having two repossesions and repeatedly being denied financing from every dealership I went to I was finally able to get a loan through Best Bet on a beautiful 2007 Kia Spectra while being treated with respect and understanding to my situation. I love it and the service I received and cant say enough for everything they did for me not to mention the professionalism and excellent customer service I received from my salesman Robert.
There are more than 700,000 auto service technicians and mechanics in the U.S. Finding the right one to repair a dent in your car door or fix an engine that won't start can be overwhelming, especially when it's an emergency. Review a few important facts about auto repair professionals and what you can do to get the best possible mechanic working on your vehicle's issues for a fair price.
Looking For Reliability
Unlike home repair services that evaluate a property, meet with homeowners and have time to prepare before their physical work begins, auto repair businesses are often asked to make fixes on the spot. If you come into a garage with a tire issue, the expectation is the mechanic will know how to correct that problem quickly.
That is why reliability is so vital when searching for a trusted auto repair shop. It may take going to several different mechanics before you find one you are truly comfortable with. Pose questions to this professional to find out what approach they will take to repair your car or what alternatives are available. Shopping around also gives you the best opportunity to find the cheapest rate or the fastest service, as some garages may be backed up with other vehicles that need repair first.
A recommended way to locate a trustworthy auto repair professional is to seek out customer reviews. Online sites offer honest opinions from real customers who have used a business. Read through this feedback to learn how a business operates and what you can expect if you were to take your vehicle there. Look for reviews about how quick maintenance was completed and if prices were fair. By learning what other people have said about a garage, you can gain a better idea if it's the right place to go when you have a car problem in need of fixing.
It can be difficult to know which automotive problems are serious enough to require expert assistance. A ripped seat cushion or broken radio don't involve safety and will not warrant enough of a problem that going into a garage is required. However, setbacks with brakes, lights and other parts that are vital to the safety of your car's driver and passengers, as well as others on the road, necessitate quick fixes. Many modern automobiles will notify drivers of an issue, in the form of a signal on the dashboard or a noise within the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, even if your vehicle does not appear to have any damage on the outside, it is generally recommended that you see a trusted auto repair professional. Internal damage may have occurred, or an important part may have been knocked out of place. Fixing these issues before driving much further can prevent further vehicle breakdowns in the future. In the case of a serious accident, a body shop can assess the problems and determine the best course of action for repairs, as well as evaluate how much they will cost.
Beyond that, regular checkups are recommended. Tires must be rotated, fluids needs to be replaced and the engine must be evaluated. After driving 25,000 miles, most auto dealers suggest having the vehicle checked out to ensure everything is running smoothly. Taking the car into the auto repair professional you trust will protect you from further problems down the road.
Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop. At the same time, be aware of mechanic scams that can impact your experience.
Preventing Trips To The Professional
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage. By handling these types of tasks on your own, you'll gain a better understanding for how your car operates and save time and money.
Along with understanding how to fix manageable vehicle issues that may arise, taking preventative measures to avoid future problems is a valuable time saver. Many problem-solving best practices are related to the seasons. Your vehicle will be in different conditions in the winter than in the summer, meaning it requires a different type of preparation.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures the vehicle will be exposed to, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check your tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
There is a common worry among many people that auto repair professionals take advantage of the general public. Because so many people are unaware of how to fix the problems in their vehicle, they are nervous of being overcharged by mechanics or worried that the improper work is being done.
While the great majority of professionals in the industry are honest, hard-working people, a few bad apples can ruin everything. You should be extra careful when first visiting a mechanic to guarantee that the price you're charged and maintenance the vehicle receives are fair.
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you are in the shop and your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill.
The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done. That way, you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
By working closely with an auto repair professional and doing some of the tune-up work on your own, you will be less likely to fall for these scams. At the same time, you'll be able to drive out with a clean and healthy vehicle, thanks to the repairs made by a trained professional.
