I was in town visiting my parents when I visited DL Nails. My mom and I went for a mani/pedi. Service was terrible. We were trying to catch up while sitting in the pedicure chairs but couldn't even hear one another because the ladies doing our pedicure were talking over us. My pedicure chipped after 2 days and my gel manicure is the worst I've ever had. The tip of my nail is a lighter color and the color appears to be fading. Worst $43 I've ever spent on nails.
I was refered by a co-worker. Amazing! The minute we walked in we were greeted and helped. The beautiful lady helped me and she is awesome! I went in for a fill, I wanted more natural looking fake nails. My tech was awesome, she was very patient with me and actually talked to me the whole time. I will be coming back everytime!
The tech here did an amazing job on my gel mani. I have not gone anywhere else in the city where they are this precise and detailed about the gel mani. Usually I go places and they quickly paint your get nails and there are bubbles or it is lumpy but not here! The location is extremely close for me and the price is better than most. This will be my new regular place!
I was searching around for somewhere in Lynchburg that does eyebrow threading. I called and asked if they do and they said yes. Mind you I asked 3 times just to make sure he was telling that truth. I made the trip to the salon with the intentions of getting my eyebrows threaded. The guy at the front desk welcomed me and I told him I was there for eyebrow threading so he called a lady from the back room. When I walked back there it was a tiny room. The first thing I noticed was waxing equipment! Freaking WAXING equipment! I told the lady I wanted my brows threaded and she said yes! So I sat down, clothes my eyes. Next thing I know she put wax on my brows! I can't begin to express how angry I was. I just agreed with myself to get them waxed since I already wasted my time going there. When she was done she literally took off my brows and left me with thin looking sad faces on my face!!! NEVER GO HERE FOR YOUR EYEBROWS.
Amanda gave me a price over the phone & I drove 40 min to the salon & back & the owner would not honor the price quoted & was very rude. Big waste of time & not how customers should be treated.
I've been to Fusion 3 times now. First time I went to get my nails done, the girl who helped me either had a rotten attitude or didn't like me because I tried to make conversation with her numerous times and she was NOT interested in speaking with me at all. Majorly rude! Second visit I got my hair done and it was MUCH better however I noticed still that none of the girls would be social. I felt like they were extremely catty and definitely full of themselves. Very unprofessional!!! 3rd time wasn't a charm either! They rescheduled me three times because my hair lady went home sick and when I got there they were extremely rushed and pushy with me. I had a retouch and hair cut scheduled and the girl who was supposed to do my hair made me feel stupid and cheap for only wanting to pay $80 after I was told over the phone a retouch would only be $45 and that I could use a recommendation card from last visit to get $10 off a cut. It was brought to my attention that I was misinformed about the cards and that "they would have to address that with their staff in the next salon meeting." Highly inappropriate to tell a paying customer that if you ask me. She also informed me that "we needed to get this show on the road and figure out what they were gonna do for my hair because they closed at 7 and wanted to be out on time." The whole conversation of trying to figure out how my hair was going to be colored was down right miserable. The "top tier hair stylist" who was supposed to be helping me only made me feel cheap and that someone trying to be on a budget can't enjoy Fusions services. My money is just as good as anybody else's! I was disgusted with their approach and will NEVER go back. If you like catty stuck up girls, this is the salon for you!
After looking for a salon in the Lynchburg area for a while, I came across Divine Destiny, and it was destiny indeed. Tasha took GREAT care of me, and is one of the sweetest stylists I've ever met. All of the ladies in the shop are equally as kind as they are talented, and they actually listen to what YOU as a client want. I visited the shop for the first time today and needless to say I will be back!
WORST SERVICE EVER!!! THEY ADD THINNER TO THE NAIL POLISH WHICH MAKES THE NAILS NOT DRY CORRECTLY AND CRINKLES UP. THEY ALSO DID NOT GET CLOSE TO THE CUTICLE AT ALL WHEN APPLYING THE GEL NAILS! IT LOOKS LIKE THESE NAILS ARE OVER 2 WEEKS OLD BECAUSE THEY ARE SO FAR AWAY FROM THE CUTICLE! I HAVE BEEN IN THERE 3 TIMES AND THEY GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND SAYING THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO. WAY OVER PRICED FOR THE QUALITY OF SERVICE. WOULD MUCH RATHER GO TO MY USUAL ONE IN MY HOMETOWN AND PAY ALMOST HALF THE PRICE FOR WAY BETTER NAILS!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE SERVICE ALL AROUND. WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND!
They got really busy and tried taking everyone on. As a result they made me leave before my gel set was fully dry. One nail smudged all the way off when I got home and when I came back the next day to get them fixed, they were super rude and made me wait an hour to just get one nail fixed. Never coming back. Any nail salon that values quantity over quality is one that never needs my business again. $40 to waste.
