I have been to Michael's so many times and loved it. They had the best drinks around and the food was very good. Especially their crab cakes. However for some reason on this holiday weekend, we got the worst waitress. She treated us like she was the customer. She was loud and made me feel like an idiot. She told me when I sent my drink back(because it had no alcohol in it) that the Manager had a meeting and they were told to cut down on the alcohol they put in it. Then told me to pick another drink, which I did and it was not good either. Never been to a place where they told you to pick another drink instead of adding alcohol in it. I recommend they get a new bartender and a new waitress. The meal I got was under cooked but the manager did take it off of the bill. The busman was really nice and made the suggestion to talk to the manager. I was very disappointed this time around. Normally, the place is great and the service and food, drinks, were wonderful. Don't know what happened with the drinks and food this time. But they need to get waitresses that don't make you feel like a fool when you complain. She was rude and loud and the entire place heard her practically yell at me. With a resturant this expensive, you go there for a good experience not to be make to feel like a fool.

I had my first experience at Michael's last night and I was very impressed. Wedge salad was fresh and flavorful and the crab cake was the best, nice lumps of crabmeat with almost no filler. My husband had a ribeye that was also very good and he's a hard person to please! Our overall experience was very pleasent. We will return.

Lunch on Sunday after church. I ordered the special, grilled shrimp and snapper with mango salsa. I was informed that my lunch was lost in the shuffle of a large party and had to wait a very long time for it. When it arrived, the snapper was dry. The mango salsa was very flavorful and fresh. However, there was just a small sprinkling of it. The shrimp were fine. The rice was too dry. At the price of $30.00, this dish came with no other accompaniments-no salad or vegetable. I was given two very cheap and cold rolls with tubs of butter. I would not recommend this restaurant for service or for fish at any price.

If you live in timonium you already know this place has it hands down over anywhere else. With a menu full of variety, any choice is a great one because they cook your food to perfection. If you are visiting Baltimore it is well worth the drive 20 minutes north.
