I came in and showed her a picture of feed in braids, asked her if she could do them, and she said yes. I get to the shop, she starts the braid with a knot. The whole point of FEED IN braids is for the hair to be fed in with no knots. From looking at the other reviews I can see she has a history of pretending to know how to do styles that she has no experience with. Then she put gel all over my hair. She said she was having a tough time because my hair was natural. BRAIDS ARE A STYLE FOR NATURAL HAIR!!!! These are the ugliest cornrows I've ever seen. On top of that, she tried to charge more than she originally quoted when I brought my picture in. I see why she never has any customers in her salon. I wouldn't let her touch my hair again, even if it was free.

Never again will dynamite braids get a dollar from me. Lets start at the beginning I got there at 9am the stylist didn't get there until almost 10. …
She does really good with all types of braiding hairstyles, but when I asked to get my hair dyed on the tips, she claimed she knew how to do it. So she told us to go get the dye, which took a couple of trips because she didn't really seem like she knew which one to get, Anyway. The day of my appointment, which was May 12th she put the dye on my hair then after she was finished my hair wasn't dyed at all, usually when you get your hair dyed it shows the first time. She claimed you have to keep coming back every so often to put more dye in your hair. So about 2 weeks later I go to wash my hair and all red dye bleeds from my hair, like a lot. No biggie I just thought it would go away, but every time I washed my hair, it bleed more red dye. I go back on July 10th to get my hair box braided, so a couple weeks later I go to wash my hair and guess what still red dye coming out. So now it is August and I haven't been able to go swimming because I'm afraid they are going to have too close the pool down because my hair bleed in the pool. Personally I just wished she would have told me she didn't know how to dye hair because all of this mess could have been avoided. I won't be going back to her salon for this reason, but like i mentioned she does very great at braiding.
I have been a customer at Favors for over one year and I am satisfy with the customer service and services provided. I have seen a tremendous amount of growth to my hair. I get Senegal twist, weaves, crochet braids and box braids. I am very satisfy with the result.
I Samantha I don't know who you are but the woman you commented about I disagree with you bcos she had been braiding my hair for almost 2years without any bad comment and its one of the cheapest braiding salon in town . Please don't destroy the woman business .Moreover, I had introduced several people to the woman shop their comment always good that she did a nice work.
Went here for basic Senegalese twists. 2 weeks later my braids started to come undone. There is only 1 woman that works in the shop and her braiding skills are sub par. She also overcharged me for a horrible job. Don't go here.
