LIARS AND THIEVES. After reading all of the other neg reviews of Crossroads Ford, Lumberton, NC., I feel fortunate to have only lost several thousand dollars doing business with them. Bought a 2012 Mustang, which I LOVE, but was LIED to/about (about in BBB complaint I filed by these losers - whose main thrust is that they are "Christian". A christian dealership? OK But most Christians I know do not lie or steal. First, walk as soon as they tell you that they have to register your car for you, WALK OUT as soon as you see their 699.00 'DOCUMENT FEE" - a way to rip you off for doing paperwork...their job! And if promised satellite radio - or anything - else - make sure you get everything before you leave. DO NOT RELY ON ANY PROMISES FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE SNAKES. You know, like serpeants in the Bible. Better yet, since they are INCAPABLE OF TELLING THE TRUTH, BUY ELSEWHERE. LIARS AND THIEVES. PERIOD.

This place is terrible DONT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE....If you are oneday late with your payment they make you pay 20.00 late charge and after five days they will come repo your vehical suppose to be a christian company if that was true why would you do people like that the cars maybe good quality but who wants to deal with thjs kind of service NOT ME and if you have any kind of brain you wouldnt either......Im telling you ���� AS FAST AS YOU CAN SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!! Terrible our sales person Jordan just wanted to sell the car after that he wouldn't return my calls didn't get floor mats theres a rip in drivers seat they were supposed to fix but didn't yet. They didn't pay off my trade in for 6 weeks.said we were approved for 500 down but must of sold all those cars before we got there just keep in mind buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a truck from Mr.Taylor about 8 months ago and of those 8 months I have had the truck I've only driven 5 months the rest of the time he has had it putting a transmission in it dont waste your time or money on the garbage he is selling over priced con artist

If your experience at this dealership was great that I would hate to see what you are comparing it to. I purchased a 2015 Yukon, had to have both headlights replaced at different times due to supposed back order and they didn't even find the problem when I took it to them, I had to drive to the dealership to show them. The roof racks were rusted after 6 months, the driver seat had a tear after 6 months, the seat and roof racks have been on back order for 2 months. If I need updates on my vehicle I have to call them and they never make good on anything they claim nor update you on any parts once they arrive. When my replacement parts came in they didn't call and let me know and claimed that they had to send them back after 30 days since they were not scheduled to be put on and I was never even informed, now they are on back order again. After all of this the driver alert system came on and said needs servicing and they stated that engineers were working on a solution to that but it was ok to drive. Three weeks later to no response at all the transmission went out in Georgia. At Master Buick Gmc in Augusta they got me out of that vehicle and offered me far more than the Lumberton dealership and I got a Denali for the same as what I had in the Yukon I got from Lumberton. Never do business here whether it's servicing, or buying. I am only 30 minutes from Lumberton and would rather drive to Augusta any day to do business (yes they are that good and Lumberton is that bad). Hope this helps deter you from a costly and lengthy mistake. I even plan to drive to Wilmington or Fayetteville just to get it serviced so I can avoid this dealership.
First of all, the first review submitted by Kevin H is falsified. Kevin H is a salesman for Car City and the Nitro he is speaking of is the one he bought from them in January. This is one of the shadiest dealerships you'll ever encounter. Their vehicles are way overpriced and many of them are back in the service department within 1 week due to undependability. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from any Car City establishment. And if you do decide to visit them, make sure you've exhausted every effort to but somewhere else. In other words, only use them as a last resort if all else fails.
I purchased a 2007 Dodge Nitro from Car city of Lumberton about 2 weeks ago. At first I was a little nervous about this dealership, because none of the vehicles have prices on them. I found almost no dealerships do this. Because prices change daily. And I will admit I would not want to be changing prices on hundreds of vehicles every day. lol. I was shocked by the sales people not wanting to attack me like sharks, like most dealerships. The Sales person came and and just started simple conversation. Didn't even talk about vehicles really. He asked "what a comfortable monthly payment range would be, something realistic, yet won't put you in a financial bind". I told him I wanted to stay under 375. And I warned him, my credit is not good at all. He took my information. And about 30 minutes later after speaking with his Manager. Who I assume calls banks and tries to get them to loan me money. He said he got several banks to approve a loan, And showed me 3 vehicles that I was interested in, I can afford, And was willing to purchase. After discussing Risks and Rewards with my sales person. He eliminated all my fears or risks of buying a car. He told me that the banks were only asking for 1,000 down. Which would make my payments around 350 a month. He informed me of all of there General service warranties to Power train warranties. Also, I think it was called GAP insurance. So if my vehicle would be stolen, totaled, tree falls on it. They would cover the entire cost of the car. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. And i've made 150 bucks due to friends buying cars. For every person I send to them and they buy a car (and they use my name for referral) I make 75 bucks. And they Even wished me a happy Birthday! (: I would most certainly do business with Car City again. And wouldn't even consider going any where else.
