Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

I took my car there to change the oil because my drain plug was stripped. I brought my own replacement plug, my own oil, and my own filter and they charged me 17$ extra for replacing the drain plug and it took them less than a minute!!! Then I find out that they stripped out the new one!!!

Do NOT take your vehicle here. They do not stand behind their work. Took minivan in at the end of June for a "tune-up" and they broke one of the spark plugs off in the head. Had to take minivan to another repair shop that charged me $1300 for removing both heads and installing new gaskets. I have sent 2 letters to the owners and manager trying to get them to at least call and talk to me about the repairs, but to no avail. All I want is a fair resolution to this situation. I can NOT recommend them for any automotive work.

I had my oil and fuel filter change . The service man that change my fuel filter over tighten filter cracking fuel filters housing . I was out of state when it started leaking . I took my truck to a Chevrolet dealer they had to change out fuel filter housing the filter was so tight they had to remove it all together at a cost of $ 431.00 I went back to kwik kar as soon I was back in lufkin Texas the manager would not stand behind his work I have been going there for three years I guess $ 431.00 means more to them then years of service I would not take a another vehicle to them at all if they do not stand behind there work no better then that
