I called this company, he responded quickly, came out told me it was the mother board, said he should be able to get it and he was able. Came back, put the part in, the furnace never worked, he came back out around 8:30 PM and then said it was the heat exchange, said he didn't think he could find the part but if he did, it'd be around 800 for the part and my furnace is 20 years old so I may needed to have it replaced. So he said he'd get back with me. Then I called him and asked if he had heard anything. He didn't. In the mean time I called a couple other company's. They both quoted me 160 and 133 for the mother board. I asked about getting my money back for the $345 I had paid him due to it not being fixed. I understood that he needed money for coming out etc. He also told me that part cost him $300, I asked if he could take it back since it was only used 20 minutes if that before we realized the furnace was not fixed. He agreed, but then said 'once it's installed they normally don't take them back'. I did ask where he got it, he never told me. He agreed to give me $145. It was not worth $200 for nothing, I asked if he could put the part in his van and resell it, he agreed. He came back out and gave me a check for $145 was there for 3 minutes, to get his part, then leave the old part. I did ask Steve for a price on a new furnace, he said $2400, I asked about the 345, then he said 2100. I let him know I was quoted for $1681.60. The best Steve could do was $1850., now how could he go from $2400 to $1850......hmmm. BE CAREFUL!!! My heat went out Sunday, today I had a new furnace from a great, honest reliable person!!!

We chose these guys because they were part of small business in the community but the communication was terrible and so on. If I had to choose over again, I would not of went with these guys.
