This business is full of a bunch of crooks that will say and do anything to get your money then no follow through with what they say they would do! Spent over $6000 with them and couldn't be any more unhappy! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I promise you will regret it!
We ordered $5000 worth of furniture and were told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Now at 3 MONTHS not weeks we are being told it will be at least another month. They will not let us refund without 25% cancellation fee.
My wife and I went to Ashley's to put some furniture on lay-a-way while our house was being built. Downturn in the oil resulted in us not being able to continue to make large payments and we attempted to cancel some of the items on lay-a-way and keep certain ones that were paid off. First I was told I would be allowed to cancel items but pay a cancellation fee. I was alright with this, it was a large amount. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, a sales rep came on the line and told me the VP and the President DENIED my order cancellation. Terrible customer service, the lay-a-way contract I signed said no such thing about cancellations not being allowed REGARDLESS OF COST.
Very deceptive program here1st the "free" financing thing. The posted prices are for cash paid in full- then the price changes based on the length of financing needed. For 18 months it's one price for 24 months another higher price. So they just tack on the financing charge to the front end. I'm surprised this is legal - I'll have to look into it. I had a couple of dings on credit report due to a tax issue - they sent my packet to 3 places for approval - I ended up up with 3 different credit lines- 2 from the same company sycon something - then the 3rd was a different name but tied to the 1st 2. And they are charging me an interest rate - at the store told me 10% once set up 29.9% then they tell me 10% was never mentioned. Dosent matter I'll pay it off in 1st month. Point is it's a bait and switch program- on price, financing, delivery- told us 4-6 weeks but its never ever 6 usually 3-4 week 7 starts Monday. they kept us in the store for 5 hours and everyone you talk to them you get different answers - just a dirt ball group in my opinion- go to Bob Mills or find a quality store with good products not this cheap garbage. Just saying!
Not even worthy of one star. This location has the worst business practice I have ever seen. After ordering and paying for a $2800 dining room set, they failed to come through on fulfilling the order as promised. When we went in to inquire about the delivery of our chairs our entire order had been purged from the system and had to be reordered. We asked to just have our money back and they said there was a no money back policy! This is an untrustworthy business. Spend a little more and take your business elsewhere.
To start off, I suffer from chronic back pain from a bad fall. We saw these sleep to live commercials with the fitting process and thought we would go get fit for a mattress. We spent a good several hours up at the store getting fitted, I even spoke with the chiropractor on the commercials. The mattress was great for several months and then it caved in like a sink hole. I called the number on my ticket and they were to send out a kit to test the sag in the bed. After several weeks and no kit, I called again, they were going to send out another one...After waiting forever, once again, I call the store and speak to someone there. He says "why would they send you a kit? I will send someone to inspect it, I will call you back"... After waiting weeks, I called the store again and was given the run around and an answering machine, left a message and never got a return call.We go to the store and speak to the GM, he states that person was fired due to poor job performance. So, I tell him the whole story and that I have now lost my ticket, they can't find it in the system. He says he will personally do some research and call me when they find it. I never get a call, SHOCKER, it seems that this is the one thing this company is good at. I call and speak to a women who says she will start looking through the system for our order and be in touch shortly. I never hear back.... BY NOW YOU GET THE PICTURE, THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK, I am sleeping in pain on the sorry excuse of a mattress because they have such poor customer service and care so little about their customers they can't seem to find 2 seconds to call you. I can't believe we spent our money at this worthless company. How can they treat people like this and get away with it? How can you take between $2-$3k from us and not call us back? I want to throw this mattress in your parking lot, but I won't because unlike this company, I do the right thing.Stay away from this store, my mother bought a living room set from here and it fell a part in 1 year. The furniture is total garbage, but the customer service is 100x worse than the poor quality.I am not happy, in fact, I am outraged by how poorly we have been treated by these scumbags.I will be posting about this just about everyday on different platforms to get the word out, and educate people about how crappy this company is.Poor, poor, poor. Poor quality, poor service, poor human beings, the word "poor" is being very nice.The "good reviews" you read are fakes.
I always loved Ashley, I bought a bed back in 09 from Ashley furniture back in San Diego, I loved the bed and mattress and what I paid! Just moved to lubbock to buy a new bed and mattress and it was the worse customer service in here, I swear this town hires anybody and everybody and they don't know how to do simple jobs right! The sales floor people were unfriendly didn't say a word to us upon walking in but stalked us all around the store like keeping a eye. When we finally told them we wanted business they tried screwing us over with trying to get us to spend $2k more than what our limit was. They are only looking out for themselves and not for the customers! They lied to us saying we'd get a free nightstand with this purchase and had us pick out between some and you think we ever got it? Nope called to ask about it, they had no idea what I was talkin f about even though I had our sales person name he denied it all. Just try somewhere else you won't regret it! Plus the furniture now feels kinda flimsy!
