In the Spanish language, the word "cuidado" means "caution", or "watch out"; i wish I would've heeded those words before selecting them as my sons in-home caregiver. This is the worst Home healthcare company I've ever dealt with, for pediatric in-home care services. Since no background checks are processed, the company hires anyone that applies to fill a position. Since January 2017, we have gone thru 3 of their caregivers. The first caregiver was here one day in our home, and was yelling at her daughter who was being beaten by her boyfriend at her home, and called 911 to send Police to her home. She often had car troubles, was late every day up to 2 hours late. The second caregiver was generally on-time, but was missing more and more days, making various excuses why she couldn't come. She quit 4 weeks after being our caregiver to "further her education".The third caregiver has never been on-time, and often showed up to work almost an hour after her shift started, and wouldn't notify us. Also she would often come up with creative excuses why she couldn't come to work, and always left an hour early in every shift she worked. One day, I came home to find the caregivers' adult daughter alone with my 9yr old son in his bedroom. This is a major problem with me, and I'm sure that Cuidados' Liability insurance doesn't cover family/friends to enter a clients home, especially for an extended period of time. Each week, she was missing more days than she worked, and that wasn't fair to our son, or to this family.Give yourself and your family the peace-of-mind to NOT hire this poorly-run, poorly trained company, and look elsewhere, otherwise you'll regret the worst decision you've ever made in healthcare for your loved ones.
Do NOT, NOT ,NOT GO TO HER. !!! HER nurse LIES CONSTANTLY, AND WILL PLAY CHILDISH GAMES WITH YOUR HEALTH, THEN LIE, AND NOT CALL YOU BACK. You will REGRET going there !!! I wish I had NOT.
Best Hospice I have ever been around! They really do care! My mother received excellent care.
