A Sears contract is worthless!!!!
I am thinking of suing Sears for taking my money for a maintenance
agreement.
We waited for 10 days for the repair to be done. He was late and said he repaired dryer and left. The next day it still did not work. We called service again, when we asked that we get service that day man on phone hung up on my wife. When I called back we were told we would have to wait for another 14 days to get service. I called our local retail store to get help. He is trying to get something done.
The repairs went well and the repairman did a good job. Worked with us on the time. Arrived when e said he would. Efficient and neat.
The thermostat on our hot water heater burned out. We have the master protection agreement with Sears. The repairs didn't cost anything, but the agreement is $600 for ten appliances for a year. The first repairman came on Monday. He said the part had to be ordered from the factory. Not true! So six days after we lost hot water, Richard came to our house. He discovered that both thermostats were out. He promptly went to Lowes and bought
it. He couldn't believe the first guy left us all week without hot water in January. So if Richard had come first, Sears would get five stars. That's why I put 2 stars.
