Awful. Shrimp tasted like salt water; pescado gierro was flavorless with extremely watered down cheese sauce. This was abslutely the worst meal ever received there.
Lime rice was not available for half an hour, and when it was finally presented, was a bit mushy, served in a scoop. Had to ask for the water 15 minutes in; and the waitres obviously didn't care much about the lack of quality. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
I have been to Abuelo's on numerous occasions in Chattanooga, TN. and think it is the best restaurant ever. The service is great, the food always taste the same! I love the chili con carne on enchiladas. Very clean. have had nothing but great experiences since I have been going there. I love Tex Mex. Originally from San Antonio! Thank you Abuelo's!!
We went to the Abeulos on Memorial by Quail Springs mall on Friday Oct. 18th. I accidently left my debit card after paying for my meal. I called within an hour later when I realized it was gone. They said they didn't have the card and took my number. I then went to the resturant in person after we were thru with the movie we had gone to. They asked me for my drivers license and took it to the back. the manager had it but I had a tab on it to be able to remove it from my wallet easier; when I got it back it was gone. I asked him about it, but he didn't have an answer for me. He again told me they did not have my card. They didn't even attempt to look for it. I told him I live 60 miles away and know my card was there. This was very suspicious to me. I canceled my card immediately as stolen. I will NOT be going back again.
oct 8 2014 i had bad experience like employee of Restaurant Abuelo's branch # 625 with general manager named Lori Watson, her attitude with employees is really bad, she no know how treat workers, i don't understand how she is manager on this branch and i think that is the reason why they are hiring employees every time, today, me and another employee was at office to see if they can explain us why them change our schedule every time they want, without ask us if can work or not, because when they hire us both parts know was part time job. and we try to find somebody explain why, one manager named Erick hit the table with his hands upset with us. that is the reason we renounce to the job, because we no are property of the restaurant. I hope your guys read this and take action on this, otherwise this branch always gonna have same problem all the time with the employees. General manager Myles has horrible customer service. Ordered Togo and was a very bad experience. He did not comp both meals!! I ordered a steak well done it came back rare.. And my husband ordered fajitas but they didn't put the tortillas inside of the order. We came all the way from Fort Worth for horrible service.. Smh thanks alot Myles.
