I registered for CNA training with Three Star Nurse Aide Training in Lubbock, Texas and the experience has been phenomenal. The class is a combination of classroom, lab, and hands on training at actual facilities. The instructor Mrs. Rodriguez is just amazing. She takes the time to teach you the proper techniques to pass the state exam and doesn’t mind spending extra time with students to ensure they feel confident and prepared for their new position. She is flexible with your schedule and offers classes after business hours to give as many people as possible the chance to become certified. She pushes you to do your best by going into class each day with a smile and inspiring her students with her compassion for others. I’ve loved the class and love the instructor. I highly recommend this program!

Very poor customer service. Went to have my beard trimmed a little before 5 and was asked AFTER I sat down if I had made an appointment. When I responded with a no, I was then told they were done for the day (even though their sign AND website said walk-ins were welcome) and given a card to make an appointment. That's a little misleading. I had very high expectations for this shop due to their social media presence and reviews from word of mouth, but the fact that I wasn't even asked why I was there was very rude since I was attempting to be a paying customer. Take a crash course in business gentlemen, barbers are a dime a dozen Lubbock and the last time I checked respect goes a long way.
Great place for a haircut, friendly people, great cut and nice atmosphere, I The paralyzed old fart, and I found my vape that I dropped on the way there :)
$15.00 for a mediocre haircut is a bit much. Now I know why he doesn't give you your glasses back to see what he did. Needs to get out of the business.
Great service. Wonderful shave and haircut
This place is so professional and clean. I enjoyed every minute of my wait. They have a really nice lounge area that made time go by a little faster. Definitely my new favorite barbershop!
Great place, nice & clean, great environment. Had a perm in my hair and it turned out great. Teachers are there supervising & the students are very nice and polite.
Great barber shop that does REAL straight razor shaves for $12.00
Be very careful about enrolling in this school. I could write a book about my disappointment with this "institution." The atmosphere is very poor and feels like a blend of jail and high school. When I enrolled, I was told the credits earned were transferrable. This later turned out to be a complete lie. I was also a couple of months pregnant when I enrolled and was told taking a five week leave of absence would not be a problem at all. When it came time to arrange for the leave of absence after I was in to the second semester, I was told that the leave of absence would not be possible. So, I was then told they would "work with me" and I finished out the last few weeks doing homework at home. I worked hard but was still required to re-take courses because I did not complete all assignments. This was the whole point in being allowed to take a leave of absence- so that I could take my maternity leave and not get behind. I kept in touch with students that were in my class, which was Medical Coding and Billing and found out that not one of them were assisted with job placement. The tuition is ridiculous. I will never go to another vocational school and I don't recommend anyone go to these type of schools. Enroll in a real, legitimate college where your degree will be recognized and the tuition is much less.
