I spent over a thousand on a refrigerator that they were unwilling to fix for me. I am a single parent and I need my refrigerator..I was treated very poorly by this company

I have been dealing with Charlie W for over 35 years and have purchased many appliances. Any problem I had was more than taken care of immediately. Charlie will bend over backwards to please their customers. I know for a fact they have fired workers immediately when they were in the wrong. Their prices are below big box stores and you always get better service. No one is perfect but they are close.
How Charlie Wilson Stole Christmas!I ordered and paid for a Gas Stove on Dec 1st and was told it would be in approx. Dec 10th. I informed them that this was a Christmas present. When I hadn’t heard from them I called on Dec 15th and they said it was “on the truck to the store” and they would contact us about delivery. I called Dec 20th, they said the model was discontinued and they couldn’t get it. No one ever called to tell me this, not to mention, how could it be “on the truck” when it was discontinued? I called back later that day and told them that the model was in fact still available on the internet. I called back again Dec 23rd and was told they thought they found one and would call me. No call came from the store. At this point, I was left without a Christmas present for my daughter. I called back after Christmas and was told they found one. Again no call came from the store about delivery. Again, I called back and they said it was coming to the store on Jan 8th and asked if we wanted it delivered that Friday or Saturday. We set up a Saturday delivery. We never heard from the store to confirm delivery so I called to get a delivery time. They told me it would be between 12 and 2 and I was told the delivery people would call 30 minutes before they came. The Charlie Wilson delivery person from the store called at 12:21 and said they would be there in 30 to 40 minutes. After waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes I called and told them no one had shown up yet. After a 10 minute wait on the phone they said there was a problem with the stove and they couldn’t make the delivery. I called one last time and the manager said “I found another one, but I can’t guarantee there won’t be problems, do you still want it?” After all the hassle they had put me through, I asked for my refund. They held my money for 6 weeks during this whole unbelievable process, after 3 days I finally received my money. Ask yourself, would you want to deal with a company that habitually lies? And if that wasn’t enough, has the worst customer service I have every experienced in my 60 years.
I have been a homeowner for 28+ years and have purchased numerous appliances from Charlie Wilson's over the years. Recently, I bought a dryer, but when the delivery guys showed up at my home, they refused to even try to take the appliance into my home through the access under the addition of my house (even though 2 previous deliveries from Charlie Wilson's had gone into my home the exact same way! ) And when they called their supervisor to complain about the situation, he/she told them to leave it in the driveway. I refused their offer, so they took the dryer back to the store.That same day, I bought the exact same dryer at Lowe's (for $11 less with free delivery), and when the Lowe's delivery team came to my home, they brought the dryer into my home through the access under my addition without any difficulty, and within 30 minutes, they had the dryer installed and had left my home. Due to the excellent customer service afforded me by their delivery team (Sean and Charlie), Lowe's has earned my business for the rest of my life, and I will make it a point to tell everyone about my horrible experience with Charlie Wilson's delivery crew.
