In all my years of construction/remodeling I’ve never dealt with someone so unprofessional, belligerent, and vulgar. I decided to rent a dumpster from Monster Dumpsters Louisville at 642 Mix Av Louisville Ky, big mistake. After calling, texting, and emailing for 2 weeks with no one answering the phone or returning emails etc during business hours I decide to call late thinking at least I would get an answering service for the business. Well I call at 11:20pm at the # 502-314-5311, which is the # that is advertised all over their website as the business phone #, and the owner Russell L. answers to my surprise. I go on to tell him I thought I would get a business answering service but since you answered, I need to get the dumpster hauled off from the house. He goes on to tell me that the 502-314-5311 # I called is a personal #. Which is a lie as it’s advertised all over his website. He also says his truck (singular) is broke down and can’t get to it. (Before he had stated he had multiple trucks etc for dumsters)I said,”well I need it hauled off.”Russell L. (Owner) then says,” Are you fkn stupid? It’s broke down!”I said,” Excuse me.”He says,”Are you fkn stupid!?” I didn’t cuss back and said,,” Look I just need your Dumpster hauled off. You’re costing me a lot of money and people we are showing the house to keep asking when the dumpster is getting hauled off.”He goes on another tantrum asking if I’m drunk and slurring words. I’m sitting on the phone wondering what is this guy’s problem, so I ask One more time when he can get dumpster and he starts again repeating over and over like a kid,”Are you fkn stupid?”I just hang up the phone. This is how the owner of Monster Dumpster of Louisville runs business and talks to clients. I also talked to other owners of dumpster services and this is this company’s reputation. This is why they have an F rating when you call BBB. I’ve never taken time out to write a bad review but people should be aware of this company

Got ripped off for about $70-80 on yellow brass. I had two buckets of yellow brass, one of low grade and one top. They measured both as low grade, scum bags....

Miscommunication between me and the company contributed to me having a misconception of this business. Therefore, I have changed this review to be positive. Thank you, Russell, for the phone call, helping to explain the situation.

Monster Dumpsters delivered my dumpster within 2 hours of me calling. The driver was very friendly and courteous. I had an emergency this morning and had to get dumpster removed and the owner came out on his day off to help me load the dumpster and get it out of here. I will definately use them again. Rip off artist. Their scales are crap, and they rip you off on carton weight. I had yellow brass in a walmart bag and somehow that little bag weighed 3 lbs. Walmart needs to look into those bags. I will never use these rip offs again!

Beware! this place is ripping off their customers, trying to pay you only $110 a ton for your scrap steel when it's worth way more! They are coluding with the scrapyard across the street to artificially bring prices down. Don't fall for it and don't let them scam you out of your scrap!

I recommend derby city they pay top prices and are good and friendly people and their to help you

DO NOT USE THIS RECYCLING CENTER. THE EMPLOYEES ARE INCOMPETENT AND DON'T PAY ATTENTION. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ A LICENSE. THE MANAGER, WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THESE ISSUES REFUSES TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND MAKES EXCUSES FOR HER EMPLOYEES. YOU WOULD JUST BE WASTING YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED GAS MONEY TO USE THIS CENTER.
