Extremely slow- was told it would be about 1 1/2 hours for install of 4 tires. They had 3 of 4 tires on hand. They were going to drive to Outer Loop to get the 4th. I found this at hour two. Instead they gave me a better tire for the same price. They gave me an alignment for free. It cost 3 hours of my life. When I looked at my bill they marked the whole procedure took 45 minutes. I will never use them again. My tires have free rotation for life of the tire at Sears- I ll pay someone else to do it.

I booked a 3pm appt at the oxmoore location in lousville ky. After recieving a phone call by a youngster with ALOT of ATTITUDE telling my that i had to have the session taken and pictures selected with my ONE YEAR OLD by 315. I tried to explain to her that this is for his one year birthday for his dad thats deployed over seas. Didnt matter, sounded like she was just unwilling to stay and do her job. OK. I tried to make it early for my appt but unfortunately arrived at 307 and she had already started her closing duties. She obviously was ready to leave. So after i asked her why she wasnt able to take me she got an attitude telling me it isnt her fault i couldnt make it to my appt on time. Then when i asked to speak to a manager she wouldnt help with that or even give me a number where one could be reached. I then asked for her name and had her repeat it to me and when she did she first gave me a neck roll then an eye roll then said and i quote "WANT ME TO SPELL IT FOR YA"?!. Samantha is what she said her name was. I then begun to ask why then would i be able to book an appt at 3 if she closes at 3?She then proceeded to slam the sign up and down asking me if i can read it. So before i subjected myself to the unprofessional rude atmosphere where i was treated like an ignorant child i went to JCPenny. Where they offer a military discount and 3free sheets. Also I called Sears asking for the store manager and it was 330 and they said her name was Tammy and that she was still in the building. I called coorporate 3x to only get to talk to an answering machine. NICE.

My car had trouble starting. I...

My car had trouble starting. I thought it may be the battery. I heard Sears had some really good ones. So I went there. I got in fast. I asked them to check the battery and tell me if it was in good condition and or if it was charging, etc. Because I didn't want to buy a new battery if I didn't need to. After all the current battery was only two and a half years old and it cost me $78. So they said we'll check it. We agreed if it needed a new one I'd like a Diehard. So I went and looked at some digital TVs while the mechanic checked out my battery and charging system, etc. Anyway about thirty minutes later I went back and the guy said the battery "was dead." And I asked "did you change it?" And he said "yes." And so I went and paid for the new battery. And then the mechanic went and got my car and I drove off. The next morning I looked under the hood to see my new battery, And lo and behold it was the same old battery! I went back immediately and asked them "does this happen a lot?" And they said "no." They then replaced the battery. And they were nice about it. I first went to them on 1/1/11 a Friday. The following day they replaced the old battery. It was different mechanics than the day before. A couple of days later the car wouldn't start when it can time to leave the grocery. I walked home. Hours later I got the car to start. I then drove it to my local mechanic where he replaced the starter. Long story short the mechanic lied to me. They probably sold me a battery I didn't need. And I had to make two trips to get it installed. They were friendly. I don't blame the whole auto shop. It may have been just the one mechanic. He told me the battery was dead when it was not. And they made make two trips to get it installed.
