Went there for a y pipe replacement in 2016. After that had a vibration in my car . And after many repairs , things replaced not welding things it turned out to be a hanger by my spare tire they replaced. My exhaust needs to be replaced because the original job has needed to be re welded multiple times exhaust fumes where even getting into my vehicle and they will not pay for my replacement of my exhaust. I was offered a refund of my $137.75 repair that is in the thousands now.

Doug had an OEM muffler for my 1985 Mazda RX-7. You cannot even get this muffler from Mazda anymore!

Hi-Way Muffler is a Gold Mine! Doug and his crew went above and be on what a normal shop does. Talk about honest, don't rip you off and doing it right the first time. Then taking the time to explain what they did and why. To also save you cost and wear/tear down the road. They go the extra mile for the customer. I just moved to the area and found them by luck and the reviews. Wish there were more Hi-Way Muffler shops just like this all over!!

The service and the team at Hi-Way Muffler Sales are both exceptional. After my experience there today I can honestly say I will never take my car any place else for exhaust work. And the waiting area being packed full is a pretty good indication that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Very professional, very courteous, and extremely great at what they do. We walked in around 1:30 in the afternoon with a loud muffler sound hoping for the best. Doug greeted us at the door and immediately drove our car into the bay to inspect it. Within a few seconds one of the mechanics came right back out and grabbed my husband to show him the problem. It apparently was a simple solution, that needed just a quick patch job on the tailpipe. I inevitably assumed the worst and was mentally prepared to be there forever. No sooner than I was able to finish a level of candy crush and they were backing it out for us! Done! I was so impressed with their hospitality and efficiency that I will NEVER go anywhere else for car repair. I cannot say enough. The least I can do for a small business in southwest Louisville that took such great care of us is to write a great review for them. Two thumbs up guys! We'll be back for sure!

great group of guys, really helped me out. Im new in town and they fixed my car and hooked me up with a price so low i almost fell over. wonderful people made me laugh and have a good time while i waited, walked in and walked out in under 15mins and they recommended me to another shop to get the rest of the work that i need done. good people.

Guy wearing banada wuth bugged out eyes SO LOST ME when trying to tell me what I needed. Had to talk to other guy in shop. Then I understood his co-worker

I had a rattling noise going on with my car. Took it to a local mechanic and told me that the entire catalytic converter needed replacing and it would cost $2,000. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Hiway Muffler. From there I met an honest man named Doug. After speedy service Doug told me it was simply a heat shield around the converter that was rattling. After a 5 minute weld job Doug extinguished the noise. Doug did not charge me a dime and I had to twist his arm to give him $20. Then he said he'd use that to buy lunch for his guys. If you want a honest job, speedy and quality service, go to Hiway Muffler. You won't regret it. Doug is freaking awesome.

Friendly, honest and trustworthy. Very good diagnosing what's causing the noise, sound, rattle, vibration - could have said it was something major and charged me a lot BUT they didn't. Repairs to 1 vehicle only required bending a heat shield - NO CHARGE. 2nd vehicle was cracked heatshield, whatever they did to fix it - NO CHARGE. Unheard of in this industry NOT to charge for their time to figure it out. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family and return if future repairs are needed..

2 weeks ago I was at the muffler shop. I walked into a empty office with a young lady behind the counter who DID NOT make eye contact nor did she acknowledge that I was even in the office. She was too busy on her personal cell phone. After 10 mns the manager apologized for my wait and looked at the lady who finally looked up from her cell phone. I was about to leave this business and never return. Furthermore, after spending $400.00 on repair work I wasn't even THANKED by the counter help. What POOR customer service skills this lady has. She actually looked miserable being there. You need a personality honey. And you better find one quick.

They put a catalytic converter on my 02 bug and three weeks later....here I am again. They said it was a bad catalytic converter. I want it fixed and fixed right this time. Tired of being here every couple of weeks

It is sickening that another business, Affordable Muffler, would write a bogus review under a reputable business review page. Affordable Muffler will go to any measure to slander another business, can you imagine how they treat their customers? The real joke here is on Affordable Muffler.

I used to never have problems with this place but now it has gotten progressively worse. After having several issues I have finally decided to give up on this place. Now I'm dealing with Affordable Muffler on Dixie Highway. The drive is definitely worth it as they have the best prices and do, by far, the best quality work. Their number is 5029333849.

I went in not knowing what was wrong and fearing the price that was heading my way. The guys inspected my Highlander and quickly diagnosed this issue. Holding my breath they tell me that it was a gasket. They had me diagnosed, repaired, and on my way in under an hour. This shop was fast, accurate, inexpensive, and very friendly. I will tell all of my friends about what a great experience I had in dealing with Hi Way Muffler.

My husband and I came in with a loud muffler and a rattle under the car (95 Honda Accord). The price was great and the length of time that the repair took was outstanding! I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for a great job.
