Overall

My name is Dudley J Stoer a 67 year old retired plumber and I would like to tell you my story. On 3/17/2015 a crown on one of my front teeth came off, so I went to the internet looking for a Dentist, I found Dr. Hammond, with a 5 star rating, he sounded great so I made the appointment. When we first met we chatted about life, he told me about his eye problem and I told him about my tooth problem. So I handed him my crown and he walked away only to return and show me that it was broken, it was not broken when I gave it to him. He said it would cost $2,900.00 to replace it. $2,900.00 What, I buy cars and trucks for $2,900.00, for one tooth, who are we kidding, for one tooth. Well, what can I do? Dr. Hammond says he will install a new post, take a new impressing and he will make me a temporary for $120.00 dollars, where do I sign up? Let’s do this, did I mention that all of my front teeth are crowns. Dr. Hammond installed the post and left me in the hands of an assistant who put that mold in my mouth for the tooth impression and then left the room. Quite some time later she returns and tries to remove the mold. I thought to myself she was gone a long time, remember that I have had the mold in my mouth many times before, she grabs the mold and starts the tug of war process. Well, 30 seconds later she pulls out the angle nose plyers and removes the rapper, Well, I may have bitten off more than I can chew. The next tug of war is three times what the first one was and when she put her hand on my for forehead, I was asking myself what have I gone and done. Well, after pulling and jerking my head all around the mold was out of my mouth, the pulling was so severe I instantly checked to make sure my other crowns were still intact and they were. I thought she was going to get on my chest to get it out. Now let’s make that tooth. Well, she damaged both of my crowns on each side of that tooth, my front tooth and my right eye tooth, so now I have new holes in the sides of my other crowns as well that look like cavities. Well, let’s install that tooth after more pushing and pulling and grinding she installs the tooth. Well, I look in the mirror and see all the damage to my teeth and I remember what my daddy always said, you get what you pay for. $120.00 two damaged crowns out the door I go. Well, a couple of weeks later the new tooth between the damaged crowns starts to wiggle in and out. Well, now it’s very loose. Well, what can we do so I call my Daughter who lives in Chicago whose husband has a practice of his own, she says Dad his time is very expensive and I hope he will have the time to stand behind his work. Well, she said Dad just go and see if he will and please remind him where you found him, on the internet. Well, off to Dr. Hammond’s office I go. I greet him and ask how his your eye doing and he replies that it’s doing much better and I reply that the Prayer request at Church must be working. I say to him that this is a social call and I would like to give him the chance to review his work, before I post my review about his work, I tell him about the damage to my crowns and Mr. Wiggly, he doesn’t even look in my mouth, just says go post your review. I am a retired plumber and for over 40 years I have always stood behind my work. Well, Dr. Hammond has shown me his true colors and to a Senior Citizen I hope he is proud of himself, like my Daddy used to say some people are legends in their own minds. Seniors please beware of this dentist if you are a self pay. Thanks for reading and God Bless, Dudley

Dr. Hammond is the absolute be...

Dr. Hammond is the absolute best! I used to be terrified of going to the dentist. I choose Dr. Hammond because he offers general anesthesia for any procedure. I don't want to be awake, even for feelings! And even though I am terrified of needles, he makes me feel so comfortable, you barely feel it. I absolutely love him, and highly recommend him to anybody, especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist.
