Provided by Citysearch -My son has been a patient of Dr. Daly's for 10+ years. I love, love, love her! My son has severe CP and a host of other diagnoses which could make him a difficult case for any pediatrician. Dr. Daly has always been very on top of things like writing RX's, writing letters of justification or support for durable medical equipment and she tailors his care to him as an individual and doesn't just treat him in a cookie cutter fashion. She's very compassionate and knowledgeable.
Over the years, I have seen each of the other doctors when Dr. Daly wasn't available. Dr. Cornett is the one I've seen the most. I was surprised to see the negative review on him... partially because, he has caught 2 incorrect diagnoses made on my son by Kosair physicians! He immediately caught both of the mistakes, took him off the prescriptions they had him on at Kosair and prescribed the proper medicines. Both times, my son was significantly better in 2 days and healed within a week. One of those times, my son had walking pneumonia / bronchitis. He was very ill and Kosair had sent me away telling me it was a cold and he was fine. (Very BAD move for a child with CP as most of them die of pneumonia.) The second time, my son had gotten a bacterial infection on his face from swimming in a saltwater pool. Kosair's ER diagnosed him with some type of infection ""like poison ivy"" and treated him with cremes. I took him to Dr. Cornett and the first words out of his mouth were, ""Has he been swimming?"" He diagnosed the problem and fixed it within a couple of days with an antibiotic.
I have seen Dr. Becherer and Dr. Heustis a couple of times each and had good experiences with them as well. I'm a very, very happy Mom to have such great pediatricians in my child's life. I really trust them!

Provided by Citysearch -My twin sons have been seeing dr. cornet exclusively for almost 11 years now. they are rarely sick, but when they are they have received excellent care from all doctors there. dr. cornett does not rush to medicate which i appreciate. i don't want my kids on medication every time they sneeze!
Dr. Cornett talks to my children like they are intelligent people and asks them for their symptoms. My sons have never been back on repeat visits like the previous review. but then again, i dont bring my kids to the doctor for every little thing.
Dr. Cornett was the only doctor that supported my de scion to breast-feed my twins! The ONLY doctor. I also raised my kids vegetarian and Dr. Cornett supported that as long as the kids were healthy, and they were! He is supportive, non-judgemental and an excellent doctor, and for the last 11 years, I wouldn't trust anyone else!

Provided by Citysearch -Becherer is super friendly, great bedside manners, honest and straight forward. Highly recommend seeing her.
Cornett on the other hand you want to avoid. Everytime we have seen him, we are back within a couple days because illness has gotten worse. Most recently he saw my son and tested him for strep. It came back negative so treated him for sinus infection. He continued to get worse with vomitting and diarea. Returned and saw Dr Becherer. She tested him for the flu, which we commented to Dr Cornett when we saw him prior. He was positive for the flu (H1N1) and in the meantime between the two visits my daughter contracted it as well. Dr. Becherer put the whole family on medication to prevent constant spread, which was something that Dr. Cornett could have and should have done. It took two weeks for my son to recoup. If Dr Cornet is the only doctor available, when we call in, we take our kids to the immediate care instead. Better to go there than constant returned visits.
The other doctors are great as well. Love dr Daly, but it is hard to get in and see her. We primarily use dr. Becherer or dr. Husctice.
