Worst experience ever for my sister’s wedding 9/1/18. We ordered $200 dresses from her catalog after a day of trying on. Each dress had $20 in shipping. Plus tax the dresses were over $230 and they took a month to get in. 3/4 of the bridesmaids (including myself) came in from out of state. She took our measurements after trying on the sample dresses for ordering the real ones. Now the fun begins: I get in the Tuesday before the wedding to try the dress on and it’s THE WRONG DRESS. She then tries to blame us for the mistake saying we were debating between two. That’s all well and good, but we decided on one and she ordered the wrong one. The dresses are not only wrong, but she ordered them a size-two sizes TOO BIG. Why did you take our measurements if only to order the dresses too big? One of our ladies is normally a size 6-8 and she had a 10. She had to clip me into the dress she ordered for me. She wanted to charge us an extra $100 for alterations because she had to alter them so much. Out of the kindness of her heart, she waved the alteration fees as an apology for ordering the wrong dress. It doesn’t end there... we got the dresses on Friday before the wedding and tried them on again: all of our dresses were choking us because she took them in too much. I was apparently too much of a jerk in store for being upset with her that when we got them re-altered to not choke us, she didn’t fix mine. I had to wear my dress unhooked as much as possible to be able to breathe and move comfortably. That’s my experience. Go if you want, but be forewarned of my horror story.
A horrible experience while consigning items here. I had lots of trouble trying to collect payment for my items sold. I feel the owner Candy is not stable and very evasive. She is uncomfortable to be around and takes full advantage of people leaving items to consign. I would never deal with Candyjacks again or recommend them. Sketchy place!
Worst experience on planet earth. She owes people money and doesn't ever pay her bills! She has a reputation of using emotional abuse to her employees as well as people she pays to do her dirty work like getting all the negative reviews off Yelp. It's very very nasty.
LOVE this store! I always find unique items there every time I shop. If you like an item you see, you better buy it because if you wait it's likely to be sold when you go back! Highly recommend!
This is such an interesting place with something for everyone. The variety and friendly staff has kept me coming back for years. Every time I visit I find new items and great deals. Last weekend I found a bargain on a high quality dresser that is perfect for my bedroom
I absolutely love Annie's Attic! Whenever I visit, their staff is always so helpful and friendly. I love the family atmosphere! Whatever you're looking for, you can always find it at Annie's Attic! I have and will continue to shop there for many years to come!!
They have been nothing but supportive and helpful in offering tips on obtaining income property
This company helped me find the house I never knew I was looking for.
SELLERS BEWARE!!!You may want to think twice before letting this store consign your items for you. From my experience - If you aren't micromanaging your items/money they will keep it, lose or misplace your records and tell you it's been so long any balance you may have had is gone now. IRS requires records be kept about 7 years but don't count on Sugarbakers for complying with that rule! Last time I phoned in and was given my balance which I never picked up and may have even grown after the call. This weekend I was told my account was coming up as needs more info which indicates a legitimate account but the records haven't been placed in the system. Today they call me to say they find no records thus my balance is zero. Because they say that it must have been there so long the money is no longer there. hmm.. well where did it go? It was just under $60 so not a large amount by any means but it's the principle. Sugarbakers had my items, they received their fair share of the sales, and now they want my share too? I call BS! I was NEVER informed of ANY expiration date! Update - today (01/10/2017) the manager Whitney phoned me to say that "if you don't pick up your money, after so long it goes away." This is NOT the kind of place I want to do business with! Their practice it not to mail people payments either. But wait until they take your money - they will mail you the paperwork you signed! Or so they say, they will.. we'll see if I ever get it and if it shows an expiration date on collecting your money. ??I SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR HIGH END, GENTLY USED CLOTHING to another establishment. Otherwise you may find you've just donated clothing to a FOR PROFIT business who pockets 100% of the sale price!
I had the opportunity to work for Annie's Attic. At first, everyone seemed so nice (almost too nice like fake nice). I worked there for approx. 3.5 weeks. I was late a couple of times by a few minutes. Overslept one day because of the medicine I am prescribed. Needless to say Lisa (the owner/manager) deemed me untrustworthy and irresponsible. Employees were sold items for a discount. Everything I purchased from them, they took out of my last check and they were full price. I also had jewelry I had taken home to list from home to help the eBay department as they were and still are losing money. I was given notice on Sunday to have the items back to their store by Monday at 6pm or theft charges were going to be filed. Needless to say, their 'Christian' attitude seems to be a front covering some nasty people. I can honestly say, I wouldn't consign a single item with this company. They have items that have sat for 6 months plus waiting to be listed online.
