EASIEST way to donate They pick up your items from home No need to be at home - just leave your donated items in front of your garage or front door with a note. You come back from work - stuff is gone and they leave a donation notice/receipt The previous negative review makes no sense to me - why did she want to wait for delivery pickup? She should have just dropped off her things herself instead of taking advantage of pickup service
This is a great facility. The personell are always pleasant and helpful.everything is well organized and maintained.congrats to the c.e.o. and all members of the staff.
My oldest sister and I was there.i remember on Christmas they took us to the Brown Hotel in Louisville.my House parents were named Moore.i learned wood working there I made a cypress knee lamp and gave it to someone there
My grandmother worked at KCH and sometimes I got to spend the night with her girls in the dorm. I remember sleeping upstairs and the main room and kitchen and dining area were downstairs. The lower floor was the "girls private area". My grandmother told me she did not to down there unless necessary. It was a place of privacy for the girls. I did get to go down there though. :D The girls called her Mom Martin. This was in the mid-late 60s. Many girls stayed in touch with her through Christmas cards, etc. I seem to remember a Mr. Fritz but I could be wrong.
Horrible service. I was wanting to donate a dresser & mirror and a ton of clothes. I called and was told I had to wait a week for pickup, so I stayed home and waited all day for them to pick up. I kept calling and checking and was told "we have ALL DAY to pick up!" Then I get a phone call at 8:30 saying "ummm.. Sorry, it's too dark. We have to reschedule until Monday." NOPE! I will donate it to someone else. I am very upset and so is my family. They will no longer donate to this place.
I was in KCH in the 60's. I owe that place my life. I miss my friends there so much. Do any of you know or Remember Mom Logan or Mom brown. How about Ronnie Dewitt. Or James Hardin. Or Stacy Waldell. I Am Deborah ( Slone) Stevens. And would love to talk to anyone that was there the same time I was
The phone number is incorrect. I don't know if the business still exists at that address.
A great selection of clothes, books, knick kncks, movies, and other stuff. All affordable!
