This is the second service I contacted about my Summit Refrigerator. It makes a terrible noise every time the ice-maker fills up. The 1st service kept postponing all day, then never showed at all. The Universal technician called and came. I had turned off the icemaker so he could hear it when turned back on - in just a couple of minutes. Well, he answered his cell phone and did not pay close attention to the noise. He said it was a vibrating water line and pulled the unit an inch farther away from the wall - and left. It takes a good hour or so to make another batch of ice. The noise is even longer and louder now.
Terrible...called & canceled at the last minute after I took off work. Actually, they didn't cancel at the last minute they canceled after the time they were supposed to arrive so that's worse. The only solution they could offer was to come the following week which is unacceptable. Poor customer service.
So we call A and P to fix fridge. Appointment time was 1 got here at 330. They replaced some part on the fridge ...charged me over 400 dollars and my freezer is now froze back up. So we play the waiting game . Mean while I called in to ask about getting someone out here the lady has NO skills in customer service. Raised her voice at me and booked a time that suited her tocome correct their mistake and HUNG up on me. Update ....these people were scheduled to return to my home on wed between 10-1 at 230 pm got a call saying the tech was broke down while my husband got a text saying the part wouldnt be in until Friday? This confuses me due to the fact they never came back the 2nd time to even figure out what was wrong with it. As of today I am out lost wages for the day waiting for them to come back, over 300 dollars worth of food and still no remedy. So in allI will need the refund on intial visit, a days worth of lost wagesand over 300 dollars in wasted food
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hired them to remove a sub zero fridge and install a new one. They showed up two hours late with two people to do the job. They gouged up my new hard wood floors because they let the dolly go directly onto the floor and proceeded to drag it. I yelled for them to stop because they were scratching and denting the floor. I asked Ace before he started any work if they were insured and he said that he was. While Ace was filling out the invoice I asked him to write on a separate invoice that he would be repairing the floors in the kitchen. He did that. Now he won't pay for the floor. I also explained to him that the damage happened while he was working and insured and that it would be covered. He texted me back saying " Take it to small claim court..my guys I had doing it swears it was already messed up. Have a good day. Don't contact me any more or it will be considered harassment.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Company went out to assess the problem. He asked me to mail a check since we live in a different state. I asked him if he had a paypal account instead and he said no. I mailed the check and the guy said they would be back over the following Saturday to put in the igniter. I informed my tenant of the time he would be over. 3 hours later on that Saturday, our tenant called and said no one ever showed up. I told him I would call to find out what happened. I got a text message from Ace at 1:30 am stating that he would not be doing the repairs till he received the check I mailed. I can't speed up the mail service. He never called me or my tenant on Saturday to let us know he would not be over. Then claimed he would be taking on fees from 75 to 90 in 3 days and if he doesn't receive it by 03/08 the balance goes up to 125.00. He then proceeds to say he will be starting legal fees and he would put a contractor lien on the home and my tenant would be responsible. He also stated he will continue to tack on 15 daily for each additional day late. When I texted him back the next morning, I stated that his message was threatening and unprofessional and that he needed to call me to discuss. Nothing, he never called. So I went ahead and called the home warranty company to tell them of the situation and told them I want a different company to handle the repairs. 1. Do not threaten through a text message. 2. Do not text at 1:30 am3. Do not say you are going to put a lien on my home4. Do not state they you are going to go after my tenant5. Do not have your wife call me and tell me you take PayPal and then hangup on me6. You will be rated on every social site for your horrible professionalism7. You money is in the mail. If you have a problem with their lack of slowness, contact the postal office or do what most companies do and take a credit card or open a PayPal account. It is 2017.
We were paired with this company from our home warranty company to fix an appliance. Long story short, the technician came out three separate times still not fixing our appliance. On the third time he came out he said he needed to order another part. When I called to follow up and find out when they were coming they told me that the technician had forgotten what was wrong with the appliance and needed to come back out because he didn't know what part to order. I called my home warranty company and told them that this was not going to work out and they needed to pair us with another company.
My washer stopped in the middle of a load Saturday. I called Aj appliance repair service the lady that answered the phone was really polite and was able to get me a repair technician on Sunday for no extra fee. I was impressed with him because he got my washer up and working at a very reasonable price and I've already got a appointment next Thursday for him to fix my dishwasher. I highly recommend this company to everyone I know.
Terrible service. It took McConnell an entire month to repair our Sub Zero refrigerator's defective thermostat. The refrigerator was running but was cutting off intermittently when we called McConnell in early June. Their technician diagnosed the problem as being a defective cold regulator. The company lied to us that the part had been ordered and was in the process of being shipped for the next three weeks . We eventually ordered the part ourselves. McConnell’s technician came and installed the part we purchased, but failed to reconnect the fan. As a result we had no refrigeration for the next five day until they finally came out and reattached the fan. We have never had an experience with a repair company that left us as angry and frustrated.
Made appt to have my refrigerator door repaired for Friday 4-8. Door is literally coming off. Penny called back & said truck broke down could I change appt. So we changed appt to Saturday 4-9. I was told someone would be here between 3pm & 5pm. No one showed or called. Called back at 5pm & Penny said he was running late on another job but he would be there. Needless to say NO ONE ever showed or Called! Would not recommend such an irresponsible company.
My washer stopped working...I called Penny took my name and number, and Ace was here within an hour!Great and friendly severice!Vary happy!!
