I had a very bad experience employee named Marcellus Hobbs, this location,s assistant manager. He called me today and told me that I have to go to his office exactly at 10 00 am to pay my balance of $231.84.. I have returned the car at the Shelbyville Rd branch yesterday since it was closer to my residence. Who is he to tell me that i have to be there at 10:00 am exactly. He also insulted me by saying that I was trying to get away from paying my bill, that is why i keep on changing the date when i could come and settle my bill. I am a very busy person and after two road accidents, I am still weary, , scared and hesitant of drive so I have my wife drive me around. Call it PTSD. This employee kicked my wife out of the office for complaining, Cant my wife express her disappointment verbally at your office. When my wife told him that she would report him to the manager, he replied that he was the manager which is not true. His business card says, Assistant manager. Worst still is that he told my wife that he never told me over the phone that i was trying not to pay my balance. which made me look like a liar to my wife. I believe that an apology is in order for this rude and insulting behavior from your assistant manager, Marcellus Hobbs. His being an assistant manager acting inappropiately to a customer makes it more intolerable. He should be ashamed of himself.
I reserved a full size car but they didn't have any in and "upgraded" me to a small Jeep SUV. It was the most uncomfortable vehicle and my back was having spasms every day I drove it. Checking was quick but I had to wait nearly 20 mins for someone to inspect the vehicle with me. Return was quick but total was over $20 more than my invoice. I had to go inside to resolve it. Not impressed at all.
The overall process was great. Our counter service was quick and our drop off was exceptional. The person greeting us was very gracious. It is an easy access airport also. My only concern was that Alamo was the farthest from the terminal entrance. So walking it was a bit tedious with luggage. It happened to be cold and very windy those days and no overhead protection. It would be more of a concern with precipitation falling. Maybe a type of overhead type walkway from terminal entrance to the end of lot might help a lot. It still was a nice experience.
Had a great experience. Nice people, helpful, and I'd easily recommend them. Great selection of cars and was a fun rental
Love the workers that helped me, but I feel sorry because they have a manager that worked at another location there. She's always been UNPROFESSIONAL and GHETTO!
Absolutely horrible experience at National Car Rental in Louisville, KY. First of all, there is no option to go straight to the cars, "pick one and go", something National markets as an advantage over their customers. When I got to the counter, there was quite a line, which is no big deal, however, the three people behind the counter were incapable of helping three people at a time, they all three seemed to be working with one person at a time. Then, after 30+ minutes in line, I got my contract and went to the lot where over 30 people were waiting, with contracts in hand, as less than enthusiastic workers brought one car at a time. No organization, no communication, no concern for delaying customers. I arrived in Louisville two hours in advance of a meeting that I had 5 minutes away from the airport. I ended up being 30 minutes late to a meeting that represents a multi-million dollar deal for my company. Absolutely horrible service from National, and this is not the first time I've arrived and had to wait in an empty lot for a car.
I would have given Service 4 or 5 Stars, but one of the employee's lied about what it would cost me to have insurance on the car. He had figures written down omitting the actual cost of Insurance, so when I signed the contract I thought I was getting everything for that one price.
This is my second time to rent a vehicle from Enterprise on Ten Pin Lane in St. Matthews. My service and vehicle were excellent on both occasions. Thumbs up! J. Nigh
Enterprise is always great to work with ... and that was my experience with the team in downtown Louisville. When they didn't have the vehicle I had reserved, they came through with a replacement that worked even better.
Their staff were very courteous, professional and helpful in many ways. While the selection for small suv's was minimal, I enjoyed driving the Jeep Compass very much. It handled nicely with excellent acceleration, and had comfortable, spacious seating. Cargo space was nice as well. The reservation website was user friendly, even for this old lady. Hahaha. If I ever find myself back in that area will definitely use Enterprise again! Kudos to a public friendly company!
