I was shopping for a roof and i called the 3 biggest roofing companies in Louisville their tv ads looked very good but i really regret it. They just sent me a bunch of salesmen who didn't even listen to my needs, they were only interested in making their commission selling me a roof. I'm so glad i called Rene , he really explained to me everything i needed to know, showed me several shingle samples and options, without any pressure at all, i mean , i was impressed and he earned my trust, i let him do my roof and i'm really satisfied with their work. My neighbor used him before to repair their roof and he's also really happy with the results, great work! great guy! great roofer! I'm glad to know that still exist contractors like him.

I am making this post for my parents based on their experience today (3/30/2017).My parents ordered replacement doors for their basement that came with a lifetime warranty. Atlas had been out once before to make some adjustments on them, as they had an issue. They were now having problems with the locks not wanting to stay locked and contacted Atlas to come out once again. It took 3 phone calls and 1 month for someone to call them back. She received a call from Chuck and they discussed the issue. It wasn't clear whether the problem was normal wear and tear or a larger issue. My mother just wanted someone to come out and assess the problem. After a few back and fourths my mom used the phrase "Well let's cut to the chase and set up an appointment". Thats my mothers way of saying "Well let's just set up and appointment and see what's going on." In no way she being insulting or aggressive, if anything she was attempting to save him a lengthy phone call. For some reason that set Chuck off. He got very loud and boisterous and would not let my mother get in another word. He told my mother that she did not appreciate his time and that he could just send someone out there and charge her. He also stated very condescendingly "You know what I'm going to do for you.. .Nothing!". Then hung up the phone on her.My mother called back to Atlas to report this issue and find out who she spoke with. It turns out it was the owner of the company Chuck Story. She was floored. Never in a million years would you expect someone to act like that towards a customer, especially the owner. Apparently his time was worth it when they were buying, but not when asked to stand behind his product/work. She was not asking for anything more than an experienced set of eyes to come look at the product they paid a premium for. He owes my mother an apology and an appointment to come look at the doors. I just hope it does not take another month for this to happen.
We wanted vinyl on our small shotgun. Jack did a great job selling the job, then he disappeared. Apparently his siding 'crews' consist of 1 man entities. It took over a month to cover this small house. Jack never checked the progress, never came back to the house. That said, it was a good application. Our house looks very nice- but geez, we could have hired a single installer and not paid the overhead of a contractor- when there was no oversight. Absolutely no protection was put on ground to catch millions of lead paint chips, which we had to clean up ourselves. So decent quality work, but exceptionally poor service.
Their work says it all, I Highly recommend this roofer, no doubt i will use them again in the future.

We had excellent previous experience with Pella in FLORIDA with replacing WINDOWS. However, we had a very bad experience in KENTUCKY when replacing a DOOR. It was very expensive. Took 3 month for first installation. Wrong trim was used. Outside metal frame was bent. Work was sloppy. Manager agreed to replace trim & metal part. Weeks later he sent the same inept installer and did not return our call of inquiry. Door is better now and functional but not good. Lock is difficult. Nail holes not filled in. Still sloppy work. Very disappointing for the time and money invested. Maybe Pella should stick to windows and forget trying to do doors. We need another door and many new windows but will not do business with Pella again.
All the wind and weather lately had blown several of our shingles off of the ridge of our home. Jason from HKC came out and got it all fixed up today. He did a great job and was very quick with getting the work done. I highly recommend you call them if you have a need for one of their many services!
Would not recommend, and certainly will never use again. Had sliding glass doors installed 2 years ago. Within DAYS had problems with paint peeling from the screens. They came out and touched up the paint THREE times before I finally forced them to replace. Should not have touch ups on days old screens. Now, one door is already foggy, another has what appears to be a large paint smudge in between the glass, right in the middle of the window. Called today regarding the fog, and was told I'm outside my 2 year warranty (by approximately 90 days, I believe), so $100 service call, plus the price to replace. The people are nice, but the product is AWFUL.
Enterprise Home Improvements was the best choice for my roof replacement. The salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about my insurance claim and helped me through the process. The crew that installed my roof was very professional and clean. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone looking for a great company to replace their roof.
