My friend and I went to Khalil's on our lunch break for the first time and our experience was not great to say the least. We arrived at approximately 12:30, ordered our meals (grilled chicken sandwich on pretzel bread and cheeseburger on pretzel bread) and appetizer The manager comes out w/ our appetizer, goes to the table behind us and asks if they ordered fried pickles, they said no, he was on his way to the table behind them when we said we ordered them to which he replied, "I knew I was missing a table number." While we waited for our entrees we watched burgers and food go to one table that arrived about 5 minutes after we did and another table that had arrived a good 15 minutes after we did. As we looked around puzzled and a little miffed our waitress said she was getting ready to bring our food out, 10 minutes go by.... no food, the manager comes and says our food is coming right out... 5 minutes go by and finally around 1:20 we get our food. One would think after waiting that long that at least their food would be hot and fresh, but alas, the chicken was barely warm and the burger my friend got was not even warm. We were extremely disappointed. The service was unorganized and the food was way below par. I gave a two star rating because the business has only been open a week and owner came to us and was sincere in his apology for the lack luster service. I would wait a few months to give them time to "work the kinks out" as the manager put it, before visiting this establishment.Jan 25 2013- Went there again for lunch today; food was delicious and the service was great!! I will be frequenting Khalil's more often. Way to pull it together!!!!

Wonderful restaurant and excellent service. I had the pork cop sandwich and it was great. I have never liked mayo but there mayo with that sandwich …
In Lousville from Northern Virginia for The Derby City Classic. Dined at Jack Fry's last night. Very rarely do I experience perfection from start to finish. Negroni on the drink menu perfectly made balance of gin Comparie and vermouth. Bread was amazing and signature entre beef filet deliciously full of flavor obviously prepared with care and pride. Paired with Bordeaux a wonderful dinner. I enjoyed bourbon brownie house made ice cream and superb Americana coffee for desert. I dined at the bar. The bar tender/server was professional and personable unlike the experience I am now not enjoying at Veranese. Veranese is as much a disappointment as Jack Fry's was pleasure.
Worst service ever! Family of 6...no one there, waited 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes went by and we had to ask a person who worked there who walked by if someone could help us. Waitress came over, never apologized for ignoring us for 15 minutes. The food was awesome! Really good! But....after we gave her a rotten tip we went to the restroom and she proceeded to huff and puff following us out the restaurant giving us dirty looks! We are new to the area and won't be going back there unless we get a to go order!
I wanted to try foods that were unique to Louisville. The vistor center recommended Bistro 301 and so happy they did! We started with the Beer Cheese and Benedictine. From there, we had the Hot Brown and the finished off with the Derby Pie. Not having any of these items before, we had no comparison but we enjoyed each item. Our server was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. I would go back to Bistro 301 if I'm ever back in Louisville.
Wife and I went here for our anniversary. It was our first time going and I can't say enough good things about it. First off, the service was incredible! Our waiter made excellent recommendations. The food was great. My wife got the filet and I had the halibut and both of us were very pleased. It is pricey. Between the two of us, our meal was $160 after tip, but it was one of the nicer fine dining experiences we've had in this city.
best restaurant off bardstown that I love. I wish that had more chicken plates or pasta chicken plates but they have a great atmosphere and good dining. the bar side isnt bad if all seats are taken we sat there on Valentine's day since I thought I had to work and everywhere was booked. prices arent bad, its usually _$100 and thats with 3/4 $10 drinks plus appetizer and two meals. enjoy!
The food was delicious, servers were very friendly, and bathrooms were clean. I had the Kobe Brick pizza and an Angry Orchard Hard Cider and it was great. My husband got the crispy center-cut pork sandwich and I was a bit jealous as it was better than my pizza, delicious. I will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone I know.
Goose Creek Diner is fantastic! We feed 40 people at a time here at Neil Huffman Nissan and Chris and his crew never disappoint. Today we had meatloaf, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, green beans, macaroni and cheese and a loaded up dinner salad. All fresh, homemade and delicious! 5 Stars to Goose Creek Diner!!!!!
I was so excited when Chadder's came to Louisville. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. It seems like they might have a slight employee retention problem. It's probably due to the fact that they are almost always busy. But almost every waiter we have had there was very friendly.
The food was excellent. We went for lunch so do not know about alcohol. Service was good considering we had almost 20 people. I am currently planning a trip for dinner for my Sunday School class. All the salads we ordered were excellent and my grilled cheese was out of this world!!!!
