Hey all! I just wanted to warn people out there not to take do business here. I had a very poor experience and am left with a sub par job and damage to my vehicle. I took my car to several bodyshops, and Huffmans came up with the best price! I was surprised as the shop looks rather expensive, and was quite happy to be taking it to such a professional look place. When I received back my vehicle, I noticed, as did the bodyshop manager, that the work had not been finished properly. The manager told me that they had under quoted the work. Apparently I should have just been happy with a poor job. I discussed it with him further and even mentioned that I might be able to make up some of the difference of the labor cost, but that I wanted the job done right. After a few more days I came back to pick up my car a second time. Things weren't as friendly as they had been the first time, I basically had my keys thrown to me and out the door I went, no one came out to look with me. I was still a little unhappy, they hadn't parked my car where you could get a good look this time, so I moved it and while I was not 100% happy with their work I just need my car. I tried not to let the work bother me to much, but over time, as I washed my car I noticed a crease where it appears they had treated roughly the removal of my bumper, and also the bumper below where the work was done now has parts that hang down in an unsightly way. All in all, I would warn you against this bodyshop, if they quote cheaply they feel free to lower their standards and just rush it through, the pride in workmanship is poor. Avoid the headaches, go elsewhere. 2 stars rather than 1 because the finished work was not horrible, and the service was not horrible, just disappointing on both fronts.
These guys REALLY came through for us in a pinch. We originally got a very high quote from a different auto service center to replace the engine in our vehicle. We were devastated, but decided to get quotes elsewhere just in case. I had heard GREAT things about Olymco so I decided to call and get a quote. They gave an incredible quote that was easily affordable. We were shocked at the quote to be honest. Matt, the service manager, was super friendly on the phone and was upfront about how long it would take to get the job done. He walked us through the warranties for the replacement engine, all of the work that would be done, etc. He was very thorough and answered every question clearly and with patience and understanding. We felt very comfortable with their staff so we decided to proceed. The work was done on time(!), and the staff made sure to call us regularly to update us on the status of the job. When I couldn't make arrangements to pick up the vehicle after the work was complete, Dan from Olymco offered to come and pick me up. (Talk about service.) Dan turned out to be incredibly personable as well, a real pleasure to speak with. To my relief, the final expense ended up being in the exact ball park originally quoted. And the car now runs smooth as pudding. These guys really impressed my socks off. As a side note, my grandfather had a similarly fantastic experience with Olymco... this was how I had first heard about them. I will definitely be returning to Olymco and telling friends and family to give them a try! Great guys, great service, honest, will stick to their quote, and are highly competitive. Highly recommended!!!
Last June I called ahead to make an appointment to test drive a Volt. I'd already decided to buy a Chevy Volt at some point & wanted a test drive to complement what I'd learned on You Tube. I may have arrived a few minutes early but there wasn't a crowd in the lobby so I was a bit discouraged to need to wait. This was the only downside to my visit and the reason professionalism only gets four stars. Still, the salesman who greeted me was friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Dan took me on the usual test drive - local and lightly traveled local streets. When I go back to buy I'm going to take the Volt on the expressway for a little better feel. Dan gave me as detailed an answer as I could have wanted to every question I asked. I said what I really wanted was the blue Volt I had "built & priced" online. Dan walked to the back lot and shortly returned driving a blue Volt. Dan and I continued to exchange information over the next few days including two lease offers he had gotten from the financial department. One for each of two different mileage quotes. I wasn't interested in a lease and told Dan I needed to work on my down payment. I never felt as though Dan was a salesman, there was no pressure, he was very willing to go the extra mile. I am close to the down payment I have been working toward - paying cash for the full price. And I will be contacting Dan when it comes time to buy.
Dear Laura B or Caroline H. I'm so glad that I checked our reviews today after I saw u leave the shop. I happen to work here. The truth is that we didn't even look at ur car today. U happened to be talking to paul who is the owner. I heard the conversation between u and him, u wanted to know how much it costs to check ur vehicle for maintenance and he told u "my dear, the check for a maintenance inspection comes with an oil change" u got mad and called Paul a "misogynist" and asked for ur key back and left. I don't know who wouldn't like to be respected. After the way u acted I personally would've asked u to get out and never come back. One thing that u may not know is that Paul is a very respected and well liked business man. Out of all the reviews that we have on multiple sites. The only negative complaints happen to be from u and yes u know u have changed ur name. If u have any questions please feel free to call me at the shop.
I ended up purchasing a new car, a 2015 Ford Escape. I really, really enjoy this SUV! It came with a few neat things most people don't need when they buy a car, but for a really low monthly payment and some warranties still left on the vehicle, I believe I got a pretty good deal. I feel like I could have gotten a better one if I waited a day and left the salesman and financial guys work a little harder to get a better price, but for a 2015, a $204 car payment is pretty low. David Reed is probably the best car salesman I've ever had to deal with, and unfortunately, there have been many. He actually seemed like he wanted to help me out and offered additional assistance after the actual sale. He's been there for 21 years, and I recommend him, especially if you see something a little above your budget.
This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and might I say this was a wonderful experience. I even got picked up by Big John!!! Mike and John were so nice and patient, they really took time to get me the best deal I could get. I honestly thought i wasnt going to leave with a car but these guys worked 4 plus hours just to meet my needs! I couldnt thank these wonderful men enough. I can tell these guys are really into satisfying their customers instead of just trying to make a sale. If you need a car these are the men to go to. Call them go to guys! Our KIA Sorento lost a fuel pump about 20 miles outside Louisville and the KIA Store East was the closest dealer. The roll back took our car there and the entire staff from General Manager, to Shuttle Driver were more than helpful and courteous. They did everything they could to get us back on the road to NC which included removing a fuel pump from a new vehicle and ordering an additional part that was overnighted to the dealership. The mechanic fixed our vehicle in record time and we were on the road in no time. I would highly recommend the service department at this dealership. They were great, as was the entire staff. They have our heartfelt thanks.
Wow, what a wonderful place to do business with. We had our daughters car towed to Probilt simply because it was the closest place for them to take it. What a Godsend. The people at Probilt went out of there way to make sure all repairs were necessary, they looked the car over to make sure it was in good running condition and safe to drive(peace of mind for this mom, who is 2 hours from her girl in college.), and they gave her a student discount. What more could you ask for. Thank you Scott and the rest of the Probilt team. We appreciate your time, talent, and patients. When needed, we will definitely do business with you again.
Finally found a place that really knows what they are doing! My car was at two other shops who's names I will not mention numerous times for same issue with a check engine light. I spoke with Josh at the counter and I could tell he really knew his s#*/t. He said just from what I was telling him he suspected what the issue might be. Long story short, I spent over $1000 at the other two shops and still had same problem. Etscorn's fixed it for less that $200 in 45 minutes. WOW. Just goes to show there are still some people who really know their trade left in this world. I will tell everybody I know to go here! Thanks Etscorn's !!
