I like this place. In general, the food is good. I enjoy all the screens to view my sports, and they keep the channel on the important games. Very Important... Anyhow, yesterday we picked up our christmas tree and stopped in to eat. Our first server was wonderful and the food hit the spot. Thanks guys, dinner was great.

DD's is a great place to sit and watch the game, have some beers, and the food is alright.
The waitresses have bad attitudes, and are really obnoxious. The last time we were in we had this one chick, Christy or Christina or somthing, and she was walking around the place yammering at the top of her lungs and calling attention to herself. She was too comfortable with talking to us like she knew us and lacked professionalism. i know it's a sports bar and all, but can you refrain from cussing while taking our order? NOT attractive.

Double D's is the type of place you go to catch the game (hockey, football, basketball...golf, whatever, etc...). Other than that, you're paying for Chili's quality food at Los Gatos based prices (if you're from the South Bay you'll know what I mean). If you're willing to shell out $15 for beer and a burger, by all means, go ahead, you can enjoy your food and watch the game. Double D's is great for families and groups of friends or even for team/group parties. It's also fun if you just want to get some fries and play some pool. It has a great location, right on the downtown Los Gatos strip. Parking and getting a table at DD's can be annoying at peak hours/nights, if you want to go in the evening make sure to get reservations otherwise look to having a long wait (30-45 min on a game night)

I was here for a birthday party and was seated with 30 insanely loud rugby players. Still, our waitress was attentive, accurate, and friendly. I had jambalaya pasta and substituted the prawns with additional chicken. My order was right and it was quite good. The atmosphere was fun and lively and (in my case) loud. The drinks are strong and the bussers are fast. I'd go again.

I live near for years but hadn't gone to DD's for some reason. Finally did about 2 years ago and now I'm there at least 3 times a week. Great staff, delicious food, very congenial atmosphere, noisy if you want it but comfy if you sit at other end from sports bar. Prices fair, especially for Los Gatos.

This is really a restaurant that serves drinks and has a few TVs. The food is good, and if you want to see the game while attending to the needs of your non-sports friends, then you could go here. But if you want to really go to watch a game, hang out, and drink beer. This isn't the place.
I don't even think they have enough tvs to get all the Sunday NFL games? I'm not sure on that, but it didn't seem like it when I was there.

Best place in the South Bay, or the Bay Area for that matter, to watch a sporting event, and get some great food. There are TV's everywhere(maybe one in the restroom would be cool ;-)..
I especially dig the clams.
And to top it off, the staff is super friendly.

Double D's is good for a visit just a couple of times a year. Good spot to chat with friends and keep one eye on the game on tv. The crowd is fun for a major college game with alums rooting their team on, but just ok for professional sports viewing.
Afternoon and evening viewing much better than morning- mediocre breakfast with consistently luke warm coffee.
