I got the The Chicken biscuit sandwich. This sandwich is a chicken cutlet topped with gravy and a garnish (radishes?) on a biscuit. Cheeky sandwiches scores high in the flavor department. The chicken was crispy, moist and nicely seasoned. The biscuit was very god as well. Firm enough to keep a sandwich together but not dry. The one thing I didn't like about the sandwich was the radishes. They were vinegary and I could have done with out them. Aside from the food the service was fast and friendly. My order was done in about 5 minutes. I noticed a few things on the menu I would like to try on another visit. The "Ben-yays" and the po boy sandwich are both appealing. I'll be back to delve deeper into their menu.

From Business: At Jersey Mike's, we offer a sub above - one that's measured in more than inches or seconds 'til served. We carefully consider every aspect of what we do - every …
The plates of pickles they give you when you sit are reason enough to visit. The menu is enormous and they have something for pretty much everyone. Huge salads and sandwiches that are the stuff of legends. The cobb salad is enough for two people to share. My old standard is ‘The Marilyn’ which is a simple grilled cheese and fries. The service is always great and hard to resist the bakery counter when paying the check.
I've been coming to Giamela's for many many years, and they are my favorite for real italian sub sandwiches. They put cut up tomatoes, pickles, and onions on top of your sub. My favorite is the pepper steak you can get it toasted with the cheese melted on it, oh my mouth is watering as I type. Anyway if you want to taste a LA landmark for sub sandwiches go in and order a pepper steak, and say hi to Matt Giamela.
This is the best place to come and get a chicken salad sandwich. If you are looking for that New Orleans taste then this is the place to check out. You can call your order in or place it when you get there. Gumbo and Po boy Shrimp sandwich. There is parking in the back just in close the parking lot is full. Mmm mmm good!
I have never been to Giamela's, but a co-worker picked up a lasagna from here for me. While the salad was creepy and the garlic bread not tempting, the lasagna was amazing, and cheap. I don't think I've ever eaten a $7 lasagna and enjoyed it so much. Cheap, tasty and quick. Love it!
So many things to choose from in the bakery, and they're (almost) all delicious. They'll even let you sample a little if you're having trouble deciding. Great for late night breakfast cravings. It's a diner, so that's how the decor goes, but it's spacious and has yummy comfort food.
Really enjoy this place! Everything from the food to the staff was fantastic. The food taste great and very fresh, while the prices are nominal. Service was great and the staff was attentive. I will most certainly come back. Check this out http://viid.me/qjm6Y1
Neat and old-school market tucked away in a Highland Park neighborhood. They have some incredible sandwiches for lunch, including a fried chicken sandwich and a cubano that were excellent. Tables on the sidewalk outside, and hand-scooped ice cream for dessert!
Canter's is certainly a Los Angeles icon. It's not really about the place itself (the service and food are fine, not great), but rather the patrons. Especially in the late hours, it's a cross section of everyday people, bohemians, and Hollywood types.
Great food. Only negative is long wait for food. Call your order in ahead and you will love this place. My favorite is the salad with goat cheese. I also love t he sodas made with cane sugar. The side salads are always changing and realy great!
