I have been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years and everything about the food and service has only got better.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised there are no reviews for this place yet. Rita's Fiesta Cafe is arguably the #1 ""insiders' secret"" amongst locals and, according to my high standards, produces the best Mexican food in the city. The absolute BEST, no question about it. You think those downt…

From Business: Founded in 1978, we have been fire-roasting our famous salsa and mixing our legendary margaritas for 35 years, serving an average of 450 guests daily—that’s right, 6,000 (or more) happy diners enjoy the restaurant each week. That’s an amazing feat for a San Antonio Mexican restaurant that started as little more than a taco…

This is my favorite place for enchiladas!!! I usually love trying different things....I do! But these are soooo good I can't tear myself away from them! They also have some great chicharones if you like that(REALLY soft). Not my thing...but my mom does. Great prices.
Great tortillas-your choice of corn(maiz) or arena(flour). Both are thick and delicious like the singer on Sunday mornings. The food is tasty, reasonably priced, service is good. The owners are usually on hand serving, and keeping and eye on things. I only wish they were open for dinner on F…
Hands down the best breakfast tacos on the planet. Made on the spot perfect fluffy flour tortillas stuffed(!) with fabulous eggs, excellent bacon and all the other great fillings just put these crescents from heaven over the top.
Ordered food to go but to work order was wrong, called called them they took my name told me to return next day and would give me food the way I ordered it. Returned next and was not hounered!!!
Very good service and food
My husband and I are here yesterday morning and we loved it staff was great food was so good, went back the next day
Pretty good food, but very slow service. When we were ready to go although we were the only people in the restaurant it took the staff a good 10-15 minutes to figure out the bill and take our money.
El Rodeo provided me with excellent food and service! I had the steak and shrimp Parrillada (#32 on the menu)... Extremely delicious! It came on TWO plates; one had the steak and shrimp, and the other had beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce and tomatoes. The service was great too. They brought the menu and nacho chips, cheese and salsa (all still piping hot) and took my order within the first two minutes after I arrived. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The waitress and manager came by my table about four times to ask how the food was and to check if I needed anything. El Rodeo will definitely be one of my regular stops.
I am Native New Mexican And this place hits the Spot!! Tastes just like our Food back home that I know and love. The service is Top notch Just like the food I Highly recommend The Enchiladas!! Thank you guys for bringing my Childhood food to Texas!!
The food is very fresh and delicious and they give large portions! They have the best Caldo/ chicken, squash soup/in town. We eat there or take out at least once a week. Great place!!
They brought me a chalupa with no refried beans and no cheese. Only dried chicken, some iceberg lettuce and a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. It was uneatable.
We loved going to Lapuntada's. The owner was very polite and the food was delicious. Now new owners and new name. They are very rude and do not speak English. My wife refuses to go back. My son was there and had to wait an hour for his order and he said they were very rude to him. He also refuses to go back. My question is this, what happened to speaking English in America? What happened to being polite to your customers?
