As a tenant the Gamboa Managment have been a nightmare. They came into my apartment unannounced, never sent out notices to any of their tenants to do work on the duplexes . When it came time for me to move out they made it very difficult to receive my deposit . I put down 2000.00 to move in cause he said I had bad credit and 400 for a pet deposit . He sent me a check for only 1406.50 with an itemized letter that had no explaintions under what he was deducting. The math was all wrong so I complained and all he had to come up with is damages for a satellite dish on the roof when I had time warner cable. And his workers at the time were working on fixing hail damage to the roof. Also his workers used my outlet for their compressors for a whole week while they worked on the rest of the complex. I have pictures that I left the place cleaned and I have a copy of the walk through from when I moved all accusations made I have in my walk through form that they are charging for. Beware

After reading these reviews I was excited to get Boardwalk Real Property to manage my rental property. They've been a HUGE disappointment from day one. I am pretty aggressive when it comes to getting my property on the market. When I asked them how long it would take to get it on the market, they said a week from the time I pay the $200 reserve. I rushed to get them the money and it took them about 3 weeks to get my property on the market. When asked why it took so long, they would come up with excuse after excuse. I had to keep calling them to make them move more tothe speed that was promised. Then when the property was finally rented, they didn't bother to tell me when. All I knew was that it was close to being rented and that paperwork was pending. There was no official notification given to me about the rental of my property. To this point, I am still having to continuously remind them of things and I am still having to stay on top of them for everything! What's the point of having them around when I have to remind them of how to do their job. I'll definitely be moving to another property management company once our agreement is over.

I am sure every consultant is different, but corporate is no help with situations either. Unprofessional and unhelpful. I started my retirement fund with this company and they made me regret it. Nothing but a hassle and struggle. Very hard to get ahold of and they back their consultants 100%. I do not want to pay someone to do a job just to have to babysit them the whole way. Make sure you watch your account to ensure things are being done, and be careful for fees when you leave....
