A terrible rip-off. I bought an oven and refrigerator from Sears at the same time, and have extended warranties on both. They were installed next to each other and I was specifically told that it would be fine to use the oven that close to the refrigerator; however, in the winter when I use the oven more, the food constantly goes bad. The repairman told me that it is Sears policy NOT to replace the stripping on the refrigerator, and that it is NOT in his job description to move the oven further away from the refrigerator. Plus I had to wait an extra day for the repairman to show up, as I wasn't informed that I'd have to be near my phone the entire previous afternoon to respond to a confirmation telephone message that I wasn't expecting. I feel cheated by Sears, and meanwhile it's no joke having to constantly replace the food that shouldn't be going bad so fast in Sears-bought refrigerator. It's not only costing an arm and a leg, it's challenging spending so much time in a busy schedule buying then throwing out food. Trying to complain to Sears is like wandering in a fortress: to whom do I write other than posting this review? Sears should get back to me on this!

Came by and said that my dishwasher must be putting out "some chemical" and he doesn't know what to do. A waste of my time, and my stainless steel dishwasher is still covered in a toothpaste like film after every washing.
the tech came out and service my refrigerator and replace a filter.. he did a great job. and was very friendly...
On July 8, 2016, I had workmen from your company come to my house to repair my washer and dryer. Given my past experiences with workers in the washer and dryer area. I was not looking forward to this. Too often, I've dealt with dishonest or unfriendly people.I have to say, however, that I am extremely pleased both with the worker who came and with the quality of the job he produced. He was efficient, friendly, polite, and they thoroughly cleaned up after himself when he the job was completed. Best of all, the washer and dryer are running like new. I will be happy to recommend the technician to anyone I know who might need similar work done.Sincerely,Joyce
The technician was great Rueben. Your customer service dept is terrible. I never received a call from them to tell me my tech was running late. Then they cancelled my appt without notifying me. Every time they made a change I found out because I called not because they called me.
This is the second time this young man fixed my washer. He was on time. He explained what happen and why it happen. He made sure I understood what he had done before he left my house. It would make life easier if they had more hard workers like thiis young man.
The service person Franco was very knowledgeable and efficient. Franco let us know exactly what parts were needed and where to purchase them.
A tech came for the third time to repair my Kenmore washer (2005), which was not cleaning the clothes and left left them soaking wet. The techs run the washer through a short cycle which apparently seems to work but a few days after they leave, when I put up a load to wash, again I get no cleaning and no water extraction no matter which cycle I use. According to the techs, it's my fault: I use too much soap, I don't put in enough clothes, I put in too much clothes. Whatever. It would be nice if there was a tech that could correctly diagnose the problem and get the washer fixed.
Sears has terrible customer service policies! I've had a warranty for the refrigerator that I pay for annually and when a repairman came a couple weeks ago to fix our freezer portion of the refrigerator he somehow broke the whole refrigerator which had been working fine and the next morning it was dead! The freezer had an "open" order on it for parts that would take a week to arrive and when after talking to 4 reps on the phone the last one named Kay was very condescending to me. She said she couldn't open up a new "order" but that we had to wait until the parts came in. I said can't you cancel the old order and get the refrigerator fixed like it was before the guy came and broke it she and was very rude and said no.In the end it was fixed on April 12th, both freezer & refrigerator!I will never buy another Sears product!!!! Warranties are a waste of money! All in all we were without a refrigerator for 1 solid week!
