This is a beautiful, welcoming church. Warm and supportive community. I don't get to attend services regularly, but when we do, we are always welcomed. Community is more progressive than traditional Catholic Churches and welcomes all.
While baptized and raised a Catholic, I (like many) spent a good number of years away from sacraments, saints, Sunday Mass. When I happened upon Blessed Sacrament, I did not instantly become a church regular, but did feel drawn to them with their outspoken acceptance of all God's children (including gays, the homeless, ex-cons), their thought-provoking homilies (the Jesuit order is the thinking man's Catholicism), and their dedicated community outreach. Attending this church has brought a fresh perspective to my life; I always feel renewed after attending Mass. I don't follow every church rule and have my share of trouble being a good Christian, but Blessed Sacrament welcomes me and I am proud to come to her.
