CLOSED ON SUNDAYS & AFTER 9 P.M. on MON-SAT!!! I just had to make sure you all got that 'cos I've gone like 2xs - once at 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday night & once around noon on a Sunday day. I was so annoyed at myself for not calling first to check their hours. Still as good as it gets for chic hwe naeng myun (that black noodle) with spicy raw fish. They serve it with a side of icy broth from the regular mool naeng myun. And of course we can't forget the King Kimchi Dumplings (kimchi wang mandoo)! I can barely hold it up in my chopsticks to dip it into my soy sauce+vinegar concoction...then barely make it to the plate to take a bite. It's ridiculously gianormous! They have a warm meaty broth that we self-served ourselves after the meal near the ice water pitcher by the cashier - yummy goodness! Something about having naeng myun on a hot day is like people who want watermelon or an icy cold beer on a front porch during a nice summer day ...something about the heat brings out the craving for naeng myun for me. Wait...it's November...eh, it was over 90 degrees in SoCal this past week. That's winter weather for you in SoCal! They used to have 2 other locations but both of them disappeared. I always like this location on Serrano & Olympic better than the other 2 any way. One thing to note, the parking lot in front in the evenings becomes valet only - complimentary - tip only - but it's still valet.
Roro's is a whole in the wall in a little strip mall. Sitting adjacent to a dodgy 7-11 you might just pass it up thinking it is too sketchy. Well, let me point you to the light - Roro's ROCKS! They offer you a ton of food for about eight bucks. It will leave you full for a day. I've not tried any of the lamb dishes but the chicken shawerma, hummus and falafel are among the best I've found anywhere. And this includes high priced Mediterranean restaurants. The chicken shawerma plate is so good I wake up in sweats craving it. As if I'm a vampire feeling The Hunger. Carved, all white meat, marinated and roasted on a spit sits over a bed of fluffy white rice. This is surrounded by a delicious light salad and pickled beets and a generous helping of their tangy, diabolicly delicious hummus. I usually order a couple of falafels on the side. Don't skip or skimp on the dish of garlic horse radish they serve. Spread it thick inside the warm pita and then stuff it full of all that chicken, hummous and salad. You will take a bite and then embarrass yourself as you will then proceed to devour it in a matter of minutes. That good!
I have been going to this place since it opened back in 1981...One of my good friends parents used to own a business right next door, so I used to go there all the time. It was tiny back then but they have grown into a nice restaurant. I did not even speak English back then but I knew how to say Chicken salad please... Anyway, it's been 27 years and nothing has changed. They still have great Chicken salad and I still can't speak English... Anyway, I had all the different Chinese chicken salads around town and this place is still the best. My wife and I buy the dressing from Costco and make our own chicken salad at home. But, at least once a month I really do need that fix... also, the same gentleman who served me my first chicken salad still works there.. I love that...If you have not been to this place, it is worth a drive to the West LA to check out Feast from the East.
If you came here for the food then you have been misinformed. The food is mexican style and thats about all you can say. If you think the food here is good then you have already tried one of their margaritas. This brings me to the real reason you come to El Coyote, the margaritas, more specifically the Ultimate Margarita. Priced at around $7 it tastes great and they don't skimp on the tequila! This is a great place to stop by before hitting the town. Service is about par for Hollywood and the service has been around about as long as the building itself. The restaurant is large and can handle large parties. You will drive to where ever you are going as it is not really close to anything. If you come in the evening there will be a wait. Highly recommend this place for a good time in Hollywood.
WingStop Makes Good Chicken! I saw WingStop once before when I was out in the South Central area of Los Angeles, but did Not have the time to drop by. However, back on Thursday, September 8, 2016, I made every effort to Successfully Stop By and try out their Delicious Chicken Wings and Fries. I had two types of Chicken Wings: Spicy and BBQ I Believe. The taste was Great! It has been a very long time since I had Chicken Wings like theirs and I also enjoyed their French Fries and their Unlimited Soda Bar featuring various types of Iced Teas. I definitely recommend WingStop to anybody who loves Chicken Wings! Thank you. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore New Customer /HPS
I live in Corona and this place is in La. I've been here at least 6 times since my brother brought me here. The food is great and the people that work here are friendly. The only thing is that the service even though they are friendly they are slow, and they allowed people to come in who aren't customers and ask you for money or they go in there trying to sell boot legged movies. A restaurant should not allowed that kind of stuff. I want to go in there and enjoy my food and not be asked if I have money to give them or if I want to buy a boot legged movie. Even though I don't like that, I will still come here when I get a chance because of their food.
We went to Buffalo's Wild Wings on a nice hot Sunday afternoon, and Eric was our server. It was dark inside so we opted to sit on the patio. Even though Eric's section was inside, he agreed to serve is on the patio. His service was prompt, very accommodating and overall the best service I've had in Los Angeles in a long time. The food was pretty good. My favorite was the fried pickles. The wings were cooked perfectly, and the salsa and chips were on point. If im shopping in the area and want to grab a quick bite,Buffalo Wild Wings will definitely be an option.
Had a conference meeting in MDR, and someone told us about Benny's Tacos and Chicken Rotisserie. We thought we give it a try, since they have 4 stars on Yelp. I must tell you the hand made corn and flour tortillas were a hit. We ordered : carne asada tacos, shrimp tacos, delicious with chipotte sauce, and fish tacos. My partners had the Rotisserie chicken with garlic sauce on the side, and incredible , juicy chicken. We love it, must try it. Great prices too. We also hired them for our office catering event. We received 20 % off. Dr. Guiv

I bring my 3 kids i live all the way in santa clarita, and we come every weekend. the service i real good and fast, i love the way this chicken taste is just the same as when i was a little boy. It smell's the same and looks the same i love their side dishes like the spicy rice and macaroni salad, and the biscuts are verry delicious. Moma is a very classy lady who knows how to satisify her Customer's needs. I really never cared much for sweet potato pie until I tasted Moma's pie. I don't know what her sweet potato pie recipe is, but She sure make some of the best Sweet Potato Pies in Los Angeles. She also has ground Chicken sauage which is my Husband's, daughter's and my Grandson's favorite breakfast sauage. It's seasoned and ready to cook. It is also good to use to season your beans, spagetti. it goes good with just about anything.
