THE PET STAFF LEFT MY SERVICE DOG FOR DEAD. My service dog is everything to me. When I had to go into the hospital I reluctantly called the Pet Staff: I had used them before with my previous dog and found them somewhat disorganized. I explained to the Pet Staff that I did not know my hospital discharge date and would call them when I was home. They agreed. I called every few days from the hospital and Tashi was doing fine. Finally when I was about to be released I called the Pet Staff. They were confused: they had not visited Tashi in 8 days. They had no explanation whatsoever as to why they had stopped caring for him. The manager matter of factly told me Tashi was dead - that he could not have lived 8 days w/o water. It took them 3-4 hours to get someone to check if Tashi was alive. Luckily, he was. The apt. mgr. had heard him barking and filled his water dish several times. She had not fed him as she thought the Pet Staff had so he was emaciated. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PET'S LIFE WITH A BUNCH OF DISORGANIZED STUDENTS. Don't be fooled by their 5 star self-written reviews below either.
I have been taking Oscar to The Wags Club for over 3 years (since he was 6 months old) and love it. I feel like the staff is an extended part of our family and I can trust them. Every day they post 200+ pics on Facebook, which I appreciate. Prices are comparable to other daycare facilities, but it's their service and care that matter most. I have recommended Wags to all my other doggie friends.
