What a terrible experience. First, they have a sushi nigiri/roll combo and it says on the menu ""your choice of roll, specialty rolls excluded. That looked good, so I ordered it, with tuna for the nigiri and unagi for the roll. They said they would not do unagi for the roll, despite the fact that it is a regular roll on the menu and the menu says your choice. They said they would do any roll but that one. OK, a little off putting, but fine, so I order the shrimp roll (another regular roll). They won't do that either. Any other roll they will do. I seriously thought he was joking, but no, he was not. I asked for the manager, who was very abrupt and rude and said the same thing. I decided not to eat there at that point, but that a minor issue compared to what happened next, and what inspired me to write my first ever review on here.
My co-worker had already ordered at this point, so I waited for him to get his food, then I was just going to grab something on the way back to the office. He was basically telling me I should be more reasonable and order something else (he did not hear how rude the manager was) and I was starting to think maybe I was out of line, when he notices his chicken is undercooked. As in RAW in the middle. And he has been eating it. GROSS. So he goes up to the same manager (who maybe was already a little irritated at this point, but that's no excuse) who tells him that the chicken is pre-cooked ""12 hours"" in advance before they prepare the food (what!?!) and that there is no way it could be under cooked. He refuses to even look at it and actually tells my co-worker ""just eat it"". Unbelievable.
I would NEVER eat here again, very bizarre experience, I think they get a lot of business anyway because of all the offices near there, but not only are they rude, they are probably going to make someone sick preparing food that way.
