Samaritana Medical Clinic

It's a clinic for the community and open to all whether you can afford it or not, which is good. The doctors here are awesome and they are the reason why patients continue to come to this clinic. Unfortunately, their staff is unbelievable!!!! We were there waiting for 3 hours and it was an emergency. The staff ignores their patients when they ask questions and have them wait for hours. While sitting there i was asking patients questions and they were telling me it's the norm to wait hours. Many of the patients have no one to voice for them, they feel inferior because they don't speak English, have lots of respect for those in the field or lack of transportation and thats the closest for them. They were treating her the same way and i finally stepped up and started talking to them and asking questions in English. Mind you my English is great and am educated. They didn't know how to talk to me and all of sudden mom is being seen by the staff. It took 3 hours though to finally see a doctor and not because he walked in but because I walked out and asked how much longer and it so happen that he was one of the doctors. After waiting for so long the doctor did take his time with her and brought her up to date on health. Like I said great doctors poor staff.

Also, pretty unprofessional at how they make fun of their patients. Not cool.

At the end of it all, mom doesn't need to go there. She just does 'cause of the doctors. But she will have to say good-bye I'm transferring her over to my clinic.

It's a shame that the potential is there but isn't at the same time!!'n
