I took my entire family out to diner at Pat's last week. We had a great time as this is the perfect family environment. The fact that the food was Kosher was definitely an added plus since we believe they keep higher standards in slaughtering the animals.
It was a big group so we had orders from the Salmon, to the Maestro Steak, to the Rib Eye and everyone loved their food. We had their special bread pudding for desert which was phenomenal. Overall, a great night out and we will do it again soon.

Pat’s is our favorite restaurant. We don’t even keep kosher –we just go there for the great food and service. My wife usually gets salmon when we dine out, and she considers Pat’s Cedar Planked Salmon to be the “Gold Standard.” She says it’s the best salmon in town; so far no one else’s compares. I usually get beef dishes. Kosher cuts are limited so they don’t serve some of the “finer” cuts, but their huge Maestro Steak is the tastiest steak I’ve ever had. The downside is the cost and since fat is one of the secrets to its flavor, it takes some work to trim it off – just another of life’s tradeoffs.
We’ve always had excellent service, which begins with a warm smile and friendly greeting by the hostess. The servers are upbeat and helpful. We’re especially impressed with Pat’s “whisk away” policy. If we express concern over ordering something new or different, we’re encouraged to, “Go ahead and try it. If you don’t like it, we’ll whisk it away and bring you something else.” At most other restaurants you’re made to feel badly if you express dissatisfaction with a dish, but at Pat’s they tell you up front that their priority is your satisfaction. And, that’s what we’ve always gotten: a satisfying and most delicious dining experience.
My favorite part of my birthday is going to Pat's. I have been going there since I was 8. I get to go for my birthday. I am turning 11 soon and it is all i can think about! Do you know why? I feel like a princess each time I go. David knows my favorite dish (meatballs & spaghetti,heaven!), Max makes me a great cocktail (without alcohol), and friendly theresa always comes over to our table to shmooze.
Not only that you'll never believe it they let me put everything we order into the compuer! i get to charge my parents.I can't wait to work there when i grow up!
Whenever i dont go out with my parents David sends home a bread pudding just for me. How sweet is that?
The only place my wife and I would dine in this town is PAT""S! We have always enjoyed every dining experience because of David, the most knowlegeadble and gracious head waiter, Theresa the most accomodating and sweetest Maitra d, and for their way of making every menu decision easy.
Like to pair wine with your dish? Ask David he gets it right every time. This is the only place weve been to where everything is fresh (no stomache aches when u get home), cleanliness, and your happiness is their number one priority. You are unhappy with the dish? No questions asked. That is why we frequent there so much. This is the closest you'll get to that homey and warm feeling each and every time you visit.
We are frequent visitors to Los Angeles and would never go back home to Florida without going to Pat's for dinner. The food is consistently the greatest., including our favorites...cedar plank salmon, cajun halibut, and those delicious desserts. ( especially the chocolate bread pudding).. On each visit we are always so welcomed by the hostess, Theresa and the manager, David Lee. David has always been very gracious and makes our dining experience one to remember. He always checks to make sure everyting is to our liking. We highly recommend Pat's to anyone who wants reasonably priced delicious kosher food, outstanding service, and fine dining. You will not be disappointed!

I have never been so disgusted by the way a restaurant goes about its business. Whats worse is that the waiters were fine and made mistakes, but it was the embarassing and condescending treatment by hostess and manager that had us walking out ashamed.
The trouble started when a waited dropped an entire pot of steaming hot water down my brother in laws back. Literally his shirt was soaked through. Luckily he reacted quickly and held the shirt away from his skin and there was little to no burning when he came back from the bathroom. Needless to say we were all a little shaken.
I guess the staff had been whispering behind our backs because before we had even said anything, the hostess came right over to ""smooth things over"", i.e, not need to give us any sort of compensation, we hadn't even asked for any. Without so much as an apology or showing the slightest bit of interest in my brother in laws wellbeings, she started making light of the situation ""oh look he's fine"". When my dad (whose birthday we were celebrating) said ""um, we're not smiling"", she merely responded ""oh look of course he's smiling"" and walked away. It was very condescending and an obvious attempt to pretend nothing had happened. One should at LEAST inquire as to his wellbeing.
This was just the start. My father sought out the manager and went over to complain. He mentioned how upset we were by the situation and were offended by the way the hostess had spoken to us.
Heres the craziest part.
The manager told him, if he didn't like it he should GET OUT.
THE MANAGER TOLD MY DAD TO GET OUT! After one of his waiters had poured boiling hot water all over my brother in law!
We were absolutely disgusted. He came over again and apparently he had mistaken my father for someone else who had previously caused trouble.
I don't care what he says, how can you eat a meal in a restaurant knowing that if an accident happens to you, the best you can hope for is to be insulted and thrown out.
We will never eat here again and that had nothing to do with the food. I suggest this manager and hostess takes a long hard look in the mirror because the entire evening was a farce of cynical business tactics.

I ate at Pats with a group of friends and found the service excellent! Too many times with kosher dining, the food is sub-par and the service is worse (Delice Bistro is a prime example of awful service and worse food). David Lee, the manager was the best at Pat's. We ordered the special of the day, which was stuffed chicken breast and it was a tad on the dry side but still great. David came over and asked how our food was and we told him it was fine but a little dry. He insisted to remake the food but we still said it was fine and ate it all. Next thing we know, our bill came and he took all the entrees off the bill. We were in shock! He tried so hard to please us and we never asked him to take the food off the bill, but he did. He is truly an amazing example of great customer service! I love that place and David made it even better.
