Consistently good Thai food. My co-workers and I like coming here for lunch. We're usually in-and-out in just under an hour. Pad Thai and Pad Radna are my favorites.
good food at affordable prices
Delicious food here. Some awesome Thai selections to choose from on the menu. I love it here because the food is very quick and fast and hot.

Provided by CitysearchI've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes when I get there, even when its EXTREMELY busy! Food is delicious and the last time I went the waiter was VERY nice. I was very impressed, he even offered to help us choose something other then my ""normal"" and his selection was on point =) I love the sushi its always fresh. I've never had cocktails there but based on that video I definitely want to try some now!!! My hangout spot...so of course I will be back lol

Provided by CitysearchWhat a disappointing experience I had tonight at Natalee last night!.
Natalee Thai has long been my favorite Thai restaurant in LA, dating back 10 years, at least. I am a huge fan of the Panang Curry and I have spread the word in my community quite a bit. Until tonight.
I was entertaining clients tonight who arrived late from out of town. We came in at 10:15 and told the hostess we would order right away, as we knew the kitchen would soon be closing. The sign says open until 10:30 so I assumed they seat until then and then feed their customers who enter by that time.
The waiter we had (med-length light brown hair, high voice) told us we needed to order right away, which we did. One of my clients ordered Ikura from the sushi bar, which he clarified to the waiter was Salmon Roe, as the waiter seemed very confused about it. He then brought a Salmon ROLL instead which my client did not want, and when we told him that he said it was too late the sushi was done. This only ONE minute after the wrong sushi item was brought. By the way, the last time I was in the same waiter totally forgot our sushi order and told us the same thing when asked-""whoops"" but now it was too late.
Continuing on about tonight, we had someone come in late and join us at 10:33 and wanted something simple like soup or pad thai or something and was told it was too late, so he sat and watched us eat.
If a restaurant serves until 10:30, how is it the chefs have already packed everything and left the building just 3 minutes later?
Lastly, my Panang Curry was not even close to being correct. I have had this dish at both Natalee locations many times and this was just wrong, and wasn't spicy either, as I had ordered it. But I didnt dare send it back because we were told the chef was done.
All in all, the experience was NOT Natalee Thai. I don't know if they spend any time training the servers, but this night there was no service!
I can't imagine going back after tonight, and that's sad because it used to be my absolute favorite.
Maybe they will use this feedback to improve service, retain staff, and reclaim some of your business.

Provided by CitysearchI have eaten at many Thai places over the years, and this place is my #2 favorite in Lost Angeles. The crowd is a mix of well-dressed professionals and motion picture crews (shorts & t-shirt clad). Simply put, the food is really fresh and the service is quite good. Two drawbacks: sometimes the kitchen can be a bit slow and the other is that in some seating situations, you are too close to the next table(s). I feel like I'm at the bank and don;t want everyone else hearing my personal business. There's also a nice bar that serves up sushi and drinks with two large screens for sporting events. There's usually ample parking, but the lunch-time crowd can fill the place quite fast so best to go just before or after the wave.

Provided by CitysearchI have been going to Natalee Thai for quiet a number of years. I will the say the ambience leaves you feeling shell shocked on a busy day or night, as it is all hard edges and flat surfaces.
I still come here because the food is really good, though in
the past portions were larger and the price was more reasonable. My only other complaint is that the kitchen is really slow. I've order spring rolls for hors an d' oeuvre and it come a minute before my entree.

Provided by CitysearchUsually I do not write negative reviews about restaurants, but this place is way overrated. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends once, and ordered delivery. At the restaraurant, I ordered Panang Curry, and my friends ordered some sushi and salad.
Panang Curry had nothing special for the price. I have tasted much better curry for 5 bucks. But mine wasnt too bad compared to my friends'. All types of sushi is very expensive, and fish on top was... just disgusting.
It tasted like its been sitting on the sushi counter for a week. Dry, and slimy inside. My friend said it smelled like fresh garbage, and she couldnt even finish one third of he portion( By the way, each sushi is pricey, plus damn small).
When we ordered delivery, it was even more bizzare. the person who picked up the phone started telling me what to order! He couldnt even find a right address, but for some reason he know the history of what we ordered before. And he didnt know what I ordered was on the menu, so I ended up talking 3 or 4 people in a row. Even they had my number and address on the computer, I had to explain everything all over. Some ladies on the phone was shockingly rude.
They said it was going to be here 45min. the food showed up an hour and 30 min later (after bunch of calls we made) . we didnt give him much tip (we were starving for waiting, so we couldnt afford to be nice), then he looked offended and asking many times how much the change was gonna be. I repeated over and over, and he finally left without saying a word.
We gave some tries, but everytime we get food from this place, we are frustrated and stressed out. I dont think I would ever go back. EVER!! Serously, another Thai restaurant accross the street is much better. they dont have any odd sushi or ""Korean BBQ"".

Provided by CitysearchI thought this place would be rocking considering how many people rave about it. Prices were steep, small portions and I couldn't figure out why they had sushi and fortune cookies in a Thai restaurant. I spent almost 40 bucks with tip (water as my beverage) and was disappointed.
Our waitiress was slow and couldn't handle more than one question at a time. Truly disappointing and they charge extra for white meat.
I think East Wind on Washington Blvd in Marina Del Rey rocks compared to Natalee. The food, authencity and overall attitude is much better than Natalee hands down.

Provided by CitysearchCome on, Natalee--be more generous with portions. It was embarrassing to have friends sit eye-balling my plates and discretely gulping down saliva. I guess that says something about good tasting but cost too pricey for certain items? Otherwise the food at Natalee is borderline above average and emphasis on a sparse but trendy setting. Okay: I suspect people go there to be seen rather than honestly eat because a movie studio is located near by. I've had tons of fun eating Thai food in every new city or town I happen to visit and sometimes there's another restaurant that just makes the total experience more enjoyable and memorable. Once in a while 'that other place' is right across the street.

Provided by CitysearchI was really looking forward to eating Thai so I ordered delivery from Natalee Thai because I had heard good things. The curry I ordered, didn't come with rice which should be standard. The Pad-See-Ew with shrimp had about 5 shrimp in it, but the yellow curry with chicken had HUGE chunks of chicken with little to no vegetables (which some people may like but unfortunately, I planned on picking out the chicken).
