Have been to Moe's Flowers every trip to LA. Order from Moe's for LA friends & family. I live in 2000+ acres of state park on a spring fed river & Moe's Flowers is a welcoming sight to behold! The colors, smells, varieties and service have always been outstanding. I salute Moe for his years of excellent service and for his personal help on many occasions! Also, I have seen arrangements in commercial buildings in LA & when I've asked, guess what? Moe's provided the eye candy for all to enjoy. Wish Moe the best for continued success!

Every time I go in here, I never know exactly what I am looking for. Today I walked in and said ""my budget is 40.00 and she likes pink"". I was buying flowers for a co-worker. And the girl who works their pulled together a bouquet that I could not have done myself. Guys if you want to impress a girl, but don't have a clue about flower arrangements the is the place you have to go. I have gone in here several times for different occasions and they have never failed me.

I am a total flowers person in my home & office 365 days 4 to 6 vases premium selection and I do love Mo""s but in all honesty it is over priced. the selection like any flower seller you must know how to pick a long lasting bud some will dye faster than others depending on how open they are and the type..Mo has over the years raised his prices and lowered his standard one would think in this economy he would do the reverse his floral staff have all been taught in house I do not believe he is paying top designers i have spoke with them so he could make a great return on investment pay his premium rent on the melrose and make a square living ..lets face it selling flowers is not rocket science ..I have found that 2 times a month to the la flower market has cut my cost by 75% nipping and arranging is easy on fresh cut look and I enjoy the routine of going there it is relaxing to handle the flowers and fun to choose them all this from a busy exc but life is short and flowers are good...

I've been really surprised to read so many bad comments about this place. I've been shopping at moe's since
1998 and never had to complain. I just got from their place the most beautiful arrangement for Valentine and
that made my day!!!!
Thanks to the nicest and helpful staff in town...

Though I live in Oregon, I used to live in LA, and always stopped by Moe's. Now, when I want flowers for folks in LA, I always use Moe's. I've never been disappointed. The arrangements are beautiful (I'm told) and the flowers last a long time. They make the recipients happy. What more could you ask?
I suppose if you've had a bad experience or were disturbed by something, it would certainly color your opinion. But the other reviews seem to be talking about single occasions. In multiple experiences with Moe's I have never found such problems. Try for yourself. Make up your own mind.

Moe definitely needs institutional help. I have seen him loose it on his staff quite a few times and have also been treated very rudely by him. The previous review where someone described Moe yelling at a customer, accusing her of stealing, grabbing the flowers from her and and throwing them against the wall is not an exaggeration. I have seen very similar displays of insanity. His flowers are beautiful, but not extraordinary. You can certainly find stunning flowers anywhere in the city and not have to endure the nightmarish minefield that is Moe and his flower shop. His sister is Rita Flora... I haven't been there, but I wonder if she's nuts too!

BEWARE! Moe, the owner, is a nut job. I asked for a simple request, to send our flowers in conjunction w/balloons for a client on valentine's day, which they agreed to. When following up on the morning of Valentines I was informed that my request was unreasonable and my order would not be honored.... oh, and that I was an a-hole. When I asked to speak with the manager the person on the phone told me he was the owner, Moe. Fortunately, I was able to call in a favor at another flower shop on Santa Monica and when I picked up the flowers and shared my story with them the cashier informed me that this isn't the first time they had run-off from Moe's with this story. Hopefully this review saves you the aggravation I went through.

I love Moe's. It's my favorite flower shop in all of Los Angeles. I have never not been delighted from a bouquet from this store. Their boquets are creative, stunning and beautiful. Always five steps in creativity and beauty above all others.
I have never written a review on this system but after reading others reviews I had to participate because my experience has been so different from others on this site. Every time I have a special dinner to go to I stop at Moe's for flowers. They package their boquets so beautifully, every hostess is touched to recieve them.

I've used Moe's flowers for Mothers day the past 2 years and have been very happy with the arrangments. This year the flowers were never delevered. After 3 calls and 4 day's later they were finally delivered. The flowers were awfull and old. They died by the end of the day!! My mom was hartbroken. When I called them regarding this the owener told me that it's not his problem! I will never go their for flowers again!!!! Highly NOT!!! Recommended!!!!!

I have been going to Moe's for several years now. I just put up with the crappy service because of the quality of the arrangements. But this Valentine's Day they disappointed me so much that I will NEVER go there again. I orderded two arrangements. Not only did they delivered the flowers one hour passed their delivery window.. they only delivered one. They had no apologies or answers for what happend and it took three follow up calls to ensure I received a credit for the arrangement that was never delivered. Don't go to Moe's.

I did not have a good experience with this shop. When I was in line to buy flowers the owner was yelling at another customer. He was accusing her of trying to steal the flowers while the customer was saying that she wants to pay for them. He ended up throwing the flowers against the wall and destroying them. The customer left in tears. Then the owner took out his anger on one of the girls that work in the shop. I think everyone in the shop left out of fear. The owner is crazy!!

I see these poor reviews and I had to sign up and completely disagree. There are tons of great classy flowers and arrangements pre-made. I can stop there any evening since they are open till 9 pm and pick up a last minute gift as I run to a dinner. The flowers that I took to a recent shower, the bride said that they were the most beautiful and unsual flowers that she had ever received. I'm ordering flowers from there today, and I can trust what will be delivered will be fabulous.

I tried to phone in an order and was treated horribly, and by the owner himself! He was curt, rude, and sarcastic. He may have been having a bad day, but the treatment I recieved bordered on racism and abuse. Don't use Moe's- the owner needs a serious attitude readjustment or severe therapy intervention.

1 mo. before my wedding I brought in colored pictures of flowers I wanted. I ordered yellow roses & babys breath with green leaves wedding bouquet ($125), 2 bridesmaids bouquets (single roses w/babys breath for 20/per), 5 boutonnieres (15/per) and 2 corsages (20/per). Arrived on my wedding day to find that my bouquet was made out of dead PEACH roses, no babys breath and white leaves. There were NO bridesmaids bouquets made, but SEVEN? boutonnieres and two corsages made of wilted peach roses. Imagine how I felt when I saw this 4 hours before my wedding. They only gave 1 pin per boutonniere, so during the wedding ceremony, my husbands boutonniere was falling sideways. I would never recommend this place for important occasions. NEVER. In fact, I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere w/your business. Stay away from Moes Flowers.
