Provided by CitysearchThis movie theater definitely has the old-fashioned, Hollywood feel; so if you're getting sick of going to your typical, cookie-cutter movie theaters, this is the place to go. They only have a single theater room, so if you don't like the movie that they're playing at the moment, then you're pretty much out of luck. However, the ambience of the place is great. The viewing room is HUGe with very comfy seating. Also, it's decorated with a mirage of a cityscape with a starry sky, which is unexpectedly nice.

Provided by CitysearchThis is one of my favorite theaters. It beats stadium seating multiplexes with its plushy seats and amazing decor. The starry sky and city facade surroundings gives you a nice calm you wish you could enjoy in an otherwise busy city. Perfect sound, screen, and selection, you can usually find a great movie playing here. Parking is never a problem and the ticket prices are competitive to most.

Provided by CitysearchI love watching movies at the Crest. It's never too hot or too cold like most theaters are, and the sound system and chairs are great. It's decorated with famous places in LA, so you get a real old school Hollywood vibe from just sitting, waiting for the movie to start.

Provided by CitysearchThis place is awsome and best of all - it's independently owned. They have tempur-pedic seats, stars that shoot shoot out during the show, amazing sound and projection. I would take this theatre over any of the megaplex theatres anyday of the week. They have great service and you can actually reserve the seats you want online and you don't have to wait in line. The employees are extremely friendly and the owner is a great guy also that happens to be there several days a week. Parking is extremely easy and it's never more than $2.00.

Provided by CitysearchThis theater has a great atmosphere and shows good movies, but even so, I usually prefer other theaters.
The worst part of the theater is that it is extremely flat seating. If someone tall sits in front of you, you're screwed. Sure, you can reserve seats online before your seating, but what does that help if at the last minute a giant sits in front of you every time.
Oh, and their customer service is bad- one of their employees refused to give me a student discount because I was from a rival college.

Provided by CitysearchThis is one of my favorite theaters in Westwood. Unless you go to the Mann or the El Capitan and deal with Hollywood traffic and crowds, you're not going to have another movie experience like this in the city. The royal blue ceiling is speckled in stars, the walls present an old Hollywood landscape lit in neon and a shooting star zips above as the pre-movie music plays. Heavy red curtains part for a dramatic beginning to the show. It's the perfect theater to take little ones.
