I've been going to LUCY'S for OVER 10 yrs. I have ALWAYS gotten an IMMEDIATE Response whenever I had an Emergency Repair & ALWAYS the BEST MOST HONEST WORK & ADVICE frm Evryone there !
Lucy & Avo have gone out of their way to accommodate me MANY MANY TIMES. Especially when I was Struggling $$$$ & going thru a VERY Emotionally Hard Divorce. Something unheard of in todays "Whats in it for ME?" World. I've had Mechanical AND Body Work done over the years & I have always been Very VERY PLEASED w/ the results. Just recently I had to have Body work done & it HAD to be done in a Very Short Time Frame... No Problem ! AS ALWAYS they came through for Me !! :)
If I ever had a question THEY WERE ON IT ! Even if I brought my car in for 5 Mins to ask a question... THEY WERE ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP.
I've always given them the Highest Recommendation to anyone in need of car repairs.

I purchased one tire about 10 days ago at lucy's last night I was near marina del Rey California and my tire I purchased at Lucy's when completely flat it was after 8 pm there wasn't any place open for me to get it fix I had to leave my car outside of a shell gas station over night! I had to get a ride home came back the next day and to my surprise the guy who was taking care of my car told me that whoever install the tire didn't do it right there were small pieces of the tire inside of it along with black powder which it was from the tire omg����I couldn't believe my eyes. They couldn't fixe it! I had to replace it with my spare tire and take the bad tire back to Lucy's I get there I talked to her I showed her the tire and she told me I had to buy another one she couldn't give me a new one nor give me money back. She would have to send it to the manufacturer and let them decide what was wrong with it so meantime I must buy a new one. I told her NO ���� Im not buying a new one you must replace it. We argue for a few minutes she kept telling me it was my fault I probably went thru a pot hole.. my mechanic told me even if I went thru a pot hole which I didn't it had nothing to do with it it's a bad tire!!! I finally told her I would call my attorney she still didn't do it!.. before I went to Lucy I stop at my mechanic who recommended me to Lucy I showed him the tire and he said yes it's a bad tire. So please don't support this business as of now I'm taking her to small claims court. The tire cost me $100.00 at this point is more about the principal than the money! Her ego is bigger than her. She needs to understand the customers are her bread and butter without customers business go thru bankruptcy! No customers no money!! This woman has no companion , no mercy now that I'm posting every where people are sharing their story with her..Thx for your time.
I was a customer about two weeks ago and I never fill out these things for any businesses, but Lucy's Auto Center was so OUTSTANDING in every way -- friendly, fair, really know their stuff -- I had to fill this out. Thank you Lucy's for a very pleasant (believe it or not -- I had a flat tire) experience! xoxo
On January 4th, 2016 we dropped off my vehicle for fuel injectors to be changed. The next day, we receive a call that there has been an accident and the engine was destroyed. The shop tells us to rent a car and they'll get their insurance on the case. 3 weeks later, still no news so we contact our insurance to see what they can do. After our insurance investigates, it turns out Lucy's Auto Parts is claiming they have no responsibility in the incident and it's up to our insurance to pay. The owner of the shop insulted me and threatened to call the cops when I went to the shop to ask why the shop doesn't want to take responsibility. I am now obliged to file a lawsuit to get the rental car paid and sort this out.
Accidents do happen, of course. But the way this matter has been treated so far is unacceptable and shameful. I would stay away from this shop. A simple incident that could have been settled in a matter of days is turning out to be a complex legal case. STAY AWAY !
