Thank you LA City Tours for making my families visit to LA so memorable. Taking a tour of Hollywood was the best decision to start our Thanksgiving week with our family. Since I live in the city I was skeptical about taking a tour of Hollywood with my overbearing family but the three hour tour celerity home served to be a way not to hear any complain and actually have fun. Our tour guide was hilarious and professional. The staff was efficient and all the driver, Sabrina, kept us entertained while waiting for the tour. This company seemed like a family of fun folks. We even saw James Gandolfini! Sabrina our guide has

Awful. Don't use them.
I almost never publish negative reviews but this service was so bad I dumped the tour. Here's a few examples of their awful service.
1) Surly staff ignored us at the office even before we booked the ride. I should have taken this as an early indicator.
2) All the office pictures showed 'polarised glass air-conditioned buses', which is what we wanted as it was a very hot and bright day.
3) Bus arrived very late. They kept telling us how good it would be but it was clear that they were used to delays and were really more interested in filling all of the seats.
4) Bus arrived and was an oldish open air truck with seats. Nothing like the pictures.
5) I complained and was harangued by one of the staff.
6) Asked for refund and told they don't do them.
7) Second member of staff came over to stare me down (intimidatory).
8) I gave up and walked away from the trip. $80 down. It felt like I'd been mugged.
In fairness, another member of staff was relatively pleasant, but from what he said I think my experiences were not so uncommon.
I hope others read this and select a different firm. This company have what I consider to be awful service values and a contempt for their clients.

My husband and I take tours in every new city we visit and i have to sat, LA City Tours was the best one we've ever taken!! It did not leave anything about LA to the imagination...we literally saw everything we couldve ever wanted and more!!! the tour guide was awesome and he made us laugh a lot while also giving us an entertaining education on LA. i loved seeing the hollywood sign and all the celebrity houses--we saw so many! my husband enjoyed seeing mulholland drive, belair and sunset strip!! it was truly the best tour we've ever taken and we have been on a lot of them!
I'm from Australia and heard about LA City Tours from a work friend who had been on one of their tours before. My friend raved about them so i was expecting a lot and I wasn't dissapointed!! So fun and we saw so many great sites!! The tour guides was always keeping us laughing and entertained. I loved it!!
I used LA City Tours on my recent vacation to California and it was wonderful. Being that it was my first time visiting LA from New York, I wanted to see it all. Our driver was very friendly and kept us entertained the whole time. We got to see everything we wanted of LA and Hollywood and had an absolute blast. I highly recommend LA City Tours if you're looking to go on a guided tour in LA!!
I took a vacation to Cali and wanted to visit Hollywood. AFter doing some research my friend found LA City tours on the web and decided to try it. It was the highlight of our trip. Its so affordable, it is fun and interesting. If you are looking for activities to do in Cali, whether visiting or resident i highly recommend it. Best tour guide i have been on.
I recently visited California for business and had some time to do some sight-seeing so I found LA City Tours and had the time of my life. All the attractions were exactly the photos I wanted and the homes of the stars was beautiful. We even unexpectedly got to meet Cameron Diaz on Rodeo Drive! The Hollywood sign was probably the coolest part of the whole tour and it didnt cost much at all! Highly recommended for anyone unfamiliar with LA and wants to see Hollywood!

WOW!! I was very surprised at how good their tour was. The last thing I wanted to do was go see where other people live especially people who have more money than me. But my sister talked me into it and we had so much fun. The weather was great, the tour guide was hilarious and it was just a lot of fun. I highly reccommend this company and tour. Oh yeah and the prices were reasonable.

Last week we visited Hollywood and had the best tour of the movie star homes. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. Especially our tour guide, so well informed, not sure how they are able to remember so much information. It was so much fun to be in a convertible bus seeing all the homes of the stars and locations where some of my favorite movies were filmed. If you plan on going to Hollywood do not miss out on this great tour.

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Between my guest and myself we made 7 calls to see if we could arrange an alternate pick up location. No one could help us, so we decided not to go. My guest called on the morning of the tour and let them know she would not be able to make it due to transportation difficulties. The women scolded her for calling so late as ""she could have sold the tickets to someone else"". They were paid for and we were going to lose our money, so why was she so concerned? She told her she didn't have time to talk to her as the office was opening and hung up on her. I called today to discuss my concerns about her rude behavior. The call was taken by Monique who said ""What do you want?"" I asked to speak to a manager, she told me there wasn't one and I could just send an email and she would respond. She then said if I told her what the problem was she might tell me she was sorry!! She also hung up on me....unbelievable!! You'd think in this economy people would be more concerned about good customer service. This tour company should be ashamed to be employing such horrible employees!!

I live in Los Angeles for 4 years. My friend came to visit me so I took him on a tour. Not only my friend liked it a lot but it was really enjoyable for me. It was a 5 1/2 hour tour and we saw every important part of LA. I thought that it was impossible (with LA traffic) but they did it. There were no rush, driver/guide was really professional (thank you Jim), he didn't even give us a single chance to get bored. A lot of information was new to me. Some places mentioned on the tour I had passed by at least 100 times before without knowing what they were. Normally I am very demanding so I thought that this tour would be a good experience for my friend and boring for me.. My bad... It was excellent. I would highly recommend to any LA visitor and LA resident to go on this tour. Thank you guys for a pleasant experience.

Simply put, the WORST customer service I've ever received. I got screamed at and threatened to have my booking canceled by the manager. She also told me that she doesn't want to do business with me, because I'm too confusing and ""driving her nuts"" and then hung up the phone. Never during the conversation, did I raise my voice or was rude to her.
