Authentic and made fresh not like king taco, the king of ziploc bags...steaming even the tortillas. The best nachos are here in King torta's chile relleno great. Their orchata, Jamaica, and Tamarindo water are done from scratch not from a fountain. Their torta's will blow you away. The bread is so fresh and soft.
I love to come here during my lunch hour sometimes. I give this place a 4 star rating because of the price. I think that they are a little expensive. But the torta is really good. So soft and always fresh. Their green sauce is very delicious and spicy. Definitely a good joint for quick and easy food. Also, I saw some other customers order their Super Nachos. I will definitely have to order that next time!
I work in an office pretty close to King Torta.
Our office is extremely busy at all times, so I figure I can save some time by phone ordering....
Everytime I call, the line is BUSY BUSY BUSY.
So I decided to walk over after so long of waiting and so many call backs....
I asked the guys at the front, hey check your phone it might be off the hook.
He then told me he knew, saying they put the phone off the hook when they get busy.
I'm sorry but this is not cool at all.
I will never go back to King torta ever again.
I don't even recommend the carne asada, its sour, with a bad after taste.
The only thing I get there is the TAQUITOS, And its not worth the hassle.
I hope they are happy that they lost our entire office as business.!

I grew up in Hillside Village and King Torta is the best thing that they could've built there. I now live in Riverside but every chance I get I stop by especially when I 'm down in L.A.. visiting my parents. My husband and I love the sopes. We especially love the tortas with carne asada. I do recommend you come and eat before the rush hour because they do run out or their delicious soft bread.

The tortas never disappoint. The bread is made daily and the carne asada is always just right.
My favorite dish is the ""SUPER NACHOS"". Not regular nachos but ""SUPER NACHOS"" and you have to try them. Guacamole , sour cream, beans, cheese and your choice of meat. It might not look edible when you first get them but they taste way better than they look. This is no small order. Order only when really hungry. They also have a KING burrito which can feed 3 to 6 people.
The area is not very good but the restaurant is consistently good.

Definetly the best spot to grab a Torta. The freshly made bread just adds to the delicious addictive flavor of the food. Words cannot describe the taste of such a truly satisfying mexican dish. I believe the name says it all, ""KING TORTA"", because it's taste and style is without a doubt royalty.

If you enjoy eating a torta, this is definitely the place to go to! I eat there at least once a week and often think about eating there more frequently! Fast and good food that has people lined up to the door to place their order. Get there early during lunch our as the place can get packed!
