Convenient and enjoyed

This was one of the best kennels I've seen. I really appreciate the friendly people who obviously enjoy watching and interacting with our most precious pets.

We will definitely be returning.

Safe and Loving!

I LOVE the Kennel Club LAX!!!. Sammie, our pet, is not a dog to me. He is like an adopted son who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and does not speak clearly. But, he is our baby boy, and when he is at the Kennel Club, I know they treat him just as I my baby boy!! It is hard to find a business and other people who understand this concept, but the staff at the Kennel Club gets it! They know him by name, they know his requirements, they know his personality...and they even know me! I have been with the Kennel Club for many, many years and with the 3 brittanys we have had. The years have been full of happy, successful memories….... Many years ago I checked out all kennels in West LA, Santa Monica, South Bay area, Malibu and the valley because I wanted the BEST for my babies, at any cost and at any distance for home. I chose the Kennel Club and I am very, very happy with that choice for all these years!

Love it here!

I have several times asked my dog, Lizzy, to tell me about her stay at the Kennel Club @ LAX, but she only wags her tail, too overcome w/ joy at seeing me to talk rationally. I know she enjoys her stays, since she is familiar with all the caregivers and never balks or hesitates to enter at the beginning of a visit. Upon pick up I always get a frank and honest "report card" on her stay and neither of us has ever had a moment's pause about the experience. I have recommended the facility to friends and family unhesitatingly.

Don't change a thing!

I can't tell you how happy we are with the Kennel club. Not only does their staff know how to take care of the cute, lovable, sweet doggies that everyone wants to be around, but even a scaredy-cat, neurotic German Shepard dog like Carlos. He comes home from the Kennel Club happy and raring to play. We drop him off at the Kennel club even when we aren't flying. We recommend the LAX Kennel club to EVERYONE who truly loves their dogs. I love that I can get my dog even when they are closed. Don't change a thing. I can truly enjoy a holiday or vacation because I know Carlos is being taken care of and will be in better shape than when we dropped him off. You all are the best.

Dont bring your pet here!!!

I brought my dog here for christmas break ; he looked horrified!!! He lost five pounds he dosent eat and I never saw him so frighten. I brought him here before he looked fine but you dont know who will be caring for your dog the next time. I also did not get all his belongings back all his food was gone but he looked soo thin. I will never bring my dog back.

Monti and Nala love The Kennel Club!

We just returned from a trip where our large dogs visited TKC for 4 days. One is 11 and the other is 2 years old. They were happy and in perfect flea-free condition when we arrived. They loved the attention and were totally exhausted from so much fun. Our older dog has stayed there many times and we knew our younger grand puppy would also have a lot to keep her busy. We love the place. The staff is caring to these family members. We feel very confident that our dogs were well cared for and given lot's of love and positive attention. We will happily return.

Great Place for Dogs!

""There are very few times I have actually sat down to write a review. I am doing this now because of the exceptional service we get at the Kennel Club LAX. The employees are fantastic. They are always welcoming, attentive, compassionate and go above and beyond to accommodate us. Our dogs LOVE going to the kennel club LAX. When we pick them up their tails wag so hard. Also the grooming department is the best in the city!""

my dog loves this place!

The Kennel Club has been a God send and a life saver. i could not have my little girl without them. She feels safe and right at home with the Kennel Club as though they are family and that's because that's how they treat her. She doesn't mind coming to visit, in fact as we round the corner she gets very excited. She is always happy to see all of the staff at the Kennel Club and must say goodbye to EVERYONE everyday before she leaves.I know the Kennel Club loves her and I love the Kennel Club and they take such wonderful care of her whether its daycare or boarding. The Kennel Club is highly recommended by me.

Fraudulent, Cruel to Animals, Disgusting. Take your beloved pet elsewhere!!!!!!

Whatever you do, DON'T LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE !!!

We left our two cats at the Kennel Club LAX for 14 days over Christmas 2008. Upon making a reservation and paying the hold fee for TWO spaces, the cats were left in a room with natural light, ventilation, and each had their own space (cage). This is just a front until you leave!

When the cats were picked up, they had been relocated to a DARK, locked, BATHROOM!!! that was IN USE by the humans running the facility. There was NO NATURAL LIGHT, NO NATURAL VENTILATION, and both cats had been put into one cramped smaller cage.

The employee looking for my cats (when they were not in the cages where we left them when we dropped them off) attempted to hide the fact that they were put in a bathroom by misdirecting me to other areas of the kennel. It was not until another employee came out of a different bathroom that I realized my cats had been placed in the one that was IN USE!!!

It is disgusting, unsanitary, and cruel to animals to place them in such conditions!

Additionally, one of our cats lost almost two pounds during the stay. She only weighed 10 to begin with! Our other cat was so dirty, we had to give him bath and flea treatment as soon as we got home.

Final Word. We will NEVER go back and we will continue to advocate against this very poorly managed institution. When people must put their beloved pets in a kennel for any period of time, it is expected that they will be treated with care, not neglected as we have found. I pity the other animals left there as we removed our cats from the facility... and by the way, there were other cats in other bathrooms as well....
